Luke Farrell commits - another top 150 kid. That's #19 for class for 2016. We'll see if Corley commits this weekend. That would be fun.

Richard Lecounte is only a matter of time (before public). Another top 50 player for the class of 2017. Trevon Grimes is in the same boat. And another top 50 player.
I never thought I'd see the day were Ohio State is turning down the likes of Auston Robertson and Ahmir Mitchell (among others). But such is the state of things. Unfortunately, "stars don't matter" so it's irrelevant.Dan Patrick: What was your reaction to [Urban Meyer being hired]?

When the Leviathans, like the Bill Belichicks and Jim Harbaughs of the NFL pro ranks dismiss their scout/elevation staffs that spend millions of dollars handling a rating system in-house and settle for a premium subscription at Rivals, then I'm on board with outsourcing."Whole milk, not the candy-ass 2-percent or skim milk."

Judging by the number of draft picks on Ohio State, I think UFM does a decent job of evaluating talent. But, obviously he's no HARBAUGH!!!!
Defending UNDISPUTED CFP champs. Consensus Preseason #1. #1 Current Recruiting Class for 2016. #1 Current Recruiting Class for 2017. HARBAUGH!!! Very, very dark days for Ohio State.Dan Patrick: What was your reaction to [Urban Meyer being hired]?

Talent, you are gonna need one of these to try to find where all those stars went when the mighty Jim "I'm a pro and you are not" Harbaugh submarines Urbie's ass in AA this fall.

Isaiah Pryor from Georgia verbals for the class of 2017. No surprise. Another top 50 player. Sort of see him growing into a OLB. With Trevon Grimes, Richard LeCounte and Lamont Wade looking solid, OSU has a chance for AT LEAST a staggering 7 top 50 players for 2017. It's like a dream.
UFM is finally starting to get elite talent into the program (starting with 2013). They shouldn't be out-talented by any team in the country. Hopefully he can do a decent job of coaching and player development.Last edited by iam416; July 27, 2015, 01:06 PM.Dan Patrick: What was your reaction to [Urban Meyer being hired]?

Ohio State confirmed what has long been rumored on OSU forums: Bosa, Marshall, Wilson and Corey Smith are suspended for the game against VT. The suspensions are not for any B10 or NCAA rules violations, but rather for UFM's team rule violations.
If I had to guess, they were enjoying college life. Oh well.Dan Patrick: What was your reaction to [Urban Meyer being hired]?

In other news, Ohio State is preseason #1 in the Coaches Poll: http://sportspolls.usatoday.com/ncaa.../coaches-poll/
Of note:
*Ohio State received 62 of 64 first place votes
*TCU is #2 and Baylor is #4
*Michigan State clocks in at a solid 6th
*Wisconsin is 18th
*Nebraska, Minnesota and Penn State received a smattering of votes.
*Illinois (-8 -) received more points that Michigan (1) (ridiculous)
*Only 3 SEC teams in the top 10..."only"
*Oregon is in at #5. Seems a little highDan Patrick: What was your reaction to [Urban Meyer being hired]?

Ohio may have hit a new low here, how can they fail to meet minimum standards when there are none?
“It’s the lack of education part,” Washington continued. “I know all these schools athletically can offer me the same thing. The academic support at Ohio State, there is no way you can fail. Even if you’re giving minimal effort there is no way you can fail.” Adolphus Washington"Whole milk, not the candy-ass 2-percent or skim milk."

Combination of pot and academics according to the four-letter network.
In news that is particularly interesting to me, OSU offered Gavin Cupp. I find that an odd offer given the status of the class, but he must have really impressed at FNL.Dan Patrick: What was your reaction to [Urban Meyer being hired]?
