Darius, which I believe is Persian for Harbaugh. Interestingly, Alexander the Great is Greek for Harbaugh if my understanding of the universe is correct.Dan Patrick: What was your reaction to [Urban Meyer being hired]?

and just remember talent, no matter what happens tonight, I never left a game early to drive back to Omaha instead of returning to a tailgate...
Didn't you leave that game at half or in the 3rd quarter....pre-Bausermann entry?Dan Patrick: What was your reaction to [Urban Meyer being hired]?

I left at half to go get a beer, but came back. At UNL you can leave at halftime, drink some more and come back.
I was witness to the Bausermann performance.. it was legendary. In fact, one ball landed about 5 yds away from me.. one of his more accurate passesGrammar... The difference between feeling your nuts and feeling you're nuts.

That's right. Yeah, that's a nice feature....the ol' halftime beer run, especially with your location.
I rate the final 20 minutes of the Nebraska game as the low point in Ohio State football since I've been alive. There's been far more painful losses and perhaps eve worse performances for 60 minutes (the 2001 game @ UCLA was laughably inept), but there has never been a worse 20 minutes of football played in my lifetime. It was a horrible defensive meltdown AND Bausermann. Dear god.
And to think OSU is where it is 3 seasons later.Dan Patrick: What was your reaction to [Urban Meyer being hired]?

talent.. just so you know, tonight, I win... no matter what happens.
I win if OSU beats the ducks.. good for the BIG and helps change conference perception.
I win if the ducks beat OSU.. Frost is a nebraska guy and we won't let you forget it.
So regardless, I win..Grammar... The difference between feeling your nuts and feeling you're nuts.

Win-win for me too.
ufm/osu and the BIG needs this win.
The Bucks to shut up ESPN, the SEC and BS comments that the BIG is slow and can't play against fast, spready teams, not to mention that osu needs to show it is an elite level team IN THE BIG TEN.
If the bucks lose, I will, as usual, feel good about that.
On balance, though, as a CFB fan, I'd like osu to win so that Harbaugh has a bigger target come November, 2105.Mission to CFB's National Championship accomplished. But the shine on the NC Trophy is embarrassingly wearing off. It's M B-Ball ..... or hockey or volley ball or name your college sport favorite time ...... until next year.

It's never win-win. If you watch the game then you'll end up rooting for someone. It's inevitable.
My guess is that the bulk of M fans will end up rooting for Oregon even if they go into the game with "conference pride" in mind.
God knows if, as expected, Ohio State loses, then I'll show tomorrow to "Urban Myth" posts and others of a similar ilk delighting in OSU's failure and mocking the program. At least, if experience is any guide.Dan Patrick: What was your reaction to [Urban Meyer being hired]?

I think I've legitimately rooted for M twice in my entire life. When they played Alabama in the Orange Bowl and against Florida in LLLLLLLoyd's last game. Otherwise, at best I entered the game ambivalent and quickly found myself rooting for the likes Petey's USC teams.Dan Patrick: What was your reaction to [Urban Meyer being hired]?

yea.. I'd rather see the conference win than lose, but I'm not going SEC about it. I never wanted Missouri or CU to win a bowl game.. I feel the same about PSU.
I'm sure I'll get that way about OSU... hehGrammar... The difference between feeling your nuts and feeling you're nuts.

Rooting for one or the other when I'm watching it? Don't know. I'm sort of neutral right now for obvious reasons..... like I hate osu. But its a plus versus minus sort of analysis. There are good and bad things about either outcome for osu.
You are spot on about the unwarranted flaming of osu and ufm. I won't be partaking.
I might change for The Game week though, depending on how things play out in 2015.Mission to CFB's National Championship accomplished. But the shine on the NC Trophy is embarrassingly wearing off.
