If the game goes anything like today's games, it could all boil down to turnovers.

The rout was on in Oregon v FSU when FSU started turning the ball over. They were hanging with them until then.

Maybe the key for OlieO will be for them to avoid turnovers. Try to keep them close until the end then take your best shot.

If Oregon gets up by 2-3 scores, its over.

But I still have no idea how the game will go. I can see realistic scenarios where either team could win.

FSU fumbled SEVEN times, lost four. The Rapist contributed an interception as well. Hard to know what that game would've looked like without all that. Guessing Oregon still wins by about 3 TD's

Went to bed at half time feeling like osu had the momentum. Didn't see the finish but like Saban said, "Didn't feel like we were controlling the game like we usually do, couldn't stop them."

That was the fundamental problem for Bama. Their D is soft up front and on the back side, in the middle. Thier O is not good enough to make up for that weakness. meyer took advantage. So, congrats.

Alabama's defense was pretty good against the run all year...something like 88 ypg and only 3 rushing TDs all season. They break down in the secondary. And, by the end of the game Ragland was out and Landon Collins' shoulder had to be in excruciating pain. Those are two big-timers for them.

Coach Herman annoyed the piss out of me with his redzone play calls, but I give him and UFM credit...they kept the play-calling balanced. They knew they couldn't win just running the ball and knew they had to have Cardale pass. And they stuck with it after a disastrous start. He made some plays throwing the ball and had two huge runs off of the pressure. Personally, I wouldn't have blitzed him at all and made him throw it.

Anyway, that was a game that goes either way. Ohio State still isn't Alabama insofar as they don't have the silly depth up and down the roster. But the guys that do play are right there.

And thank god that Bama CB dropped that INT when he jumped the WR screen. Good lord.

Dammit. I meant to post something like that last night, but lost my train of thought. And then his morning I credited the addition of Maryland and Rutgers which, to be fair, predated Harbaugh. Frankly, I think the case can be made that seeing M lose to Maryland AND Rutgers was the final straw for JH. The aggression can not stand. He had to make shit right.

Kiffin had a really bad game, IMO. Their attack was incoherent. I think they could have made better effect of their running game. I think the pass on 1st and 10 at the 23 after the disastrous punt was a horrible call regardless. They weren't getting a ton of free-up with the play-action because they hadn't crushed OSU's skulls with the running game. Sims made a bad pass and Vonn Bell is a player.

Alabama was injured, though. They only had Yeldon for 5-10 carries. If he plays, maybe they pound OSU more. And Ragland and Collins going out/getting hurt was huge.
