Big picture, this news made me happy (I'm being honest). Obviously its never good to be happy about an athlete suffering an injury and you feel bad for the individual player (Miller)... then again, it's ohio state and this has the potential to affect their season in a negative way.

I don't think this affects them too much overall. The strength of the ohio team is their defense, not their offense. To beat them, you have to score on them. Michigan hasn't shown that they can do that consistently against ANYONE, much less ohio.
And I doubt that the injury is as serious as first reported. Its likely a small setback that will have him back in the starting job no later than mid-season. He'll be back to full strength by Thanksgiving weekend. Guaranteed."in order to lead America you must love America"

Scout Insiders are saying he's almost certainly done for the year. MRI today, but everyone thinks he blew out his shoulder. The only reason that it's "almost" certainty is b/c Brax has overplayed injuries in the past, but this seems legit. It's also the kind of injury that could really give him fits trying to make the NFL.
Teamwise, JT Barrett will most likely start. And now Navy is no given. Oh boy.Dan Patrick: What was your reaction to [Urban Meyer being hired]?
Brady Hoke: You know.....not....good.

IMHO Miller doesn't have an NFL future, regardless. His best financial decision is to make sure that he gets his college degree (if it takes a fifth year). I love his deep ball and his college running, but his accuracy on middle to short routes leaves a lot to be desired and I think that his upright, dancing running style translates poorly to the NFL.
