Ohio State is again No. 4, but saw its points deficit to FSU balloon from 28 to 44 in the span of seven days. Not only that, but No. 5 Baylor cut into the lead the Buckeyes held over the Bears coming out of Week 8. Last Sunday, Baylor trailed Ohio State by 127 points; today, the Bears’ deficit stands at 82.

DSL, what you need to do is petition John Boehner to introduce a Bill in the House to immediately defund the BCS Poll, those Ohio Congressmen know how to "play ball" and It's a job worthy of Congress and the 31M a day it costs to run it.
Obviously at #4 and sinking fast, you need to suppress that vote or at the very least unplug that damn computer so speak. How dare they tarnish Meyer's legacy, they obviously didn't get the Bucknut memo.....this is not how Script Ohio is supposed to end.

*OSU currently has 18 spots for its recruiting class with 18 verbals. They are recruiting as if they have about 6 spots left. That suggests at least 3 and maybe 4 EEs. I would be surprised if Braxton comes back.
*Lattimore, Erick Smith, Raekwon McMillan and Chad Mavesty seem most likely to be in the class. Thomas Holley, Soloman Thomas and Johnnie Dixon are also possibilities, with Dixon probably staying in Miami.
*Ezekiel Elliot has 218 yards in 24 carries this year in mop up time. He had a really nice TD run called back against PSU. The kid is going to really, really good. Another really good big back in UFM's offense.
*OSU averages 6.2 ypc and has completed 70% of its passes. Yes, I'm going to miss Coach Herman when he moves up the ladder -- probably after this season.
*OSU is a 31 point favorite in WL. OSU has lost 4 of its last 6 in the god-forsaken gray tarmac of endless dreariness. I don't doubt the computers that spit out the line. OSU is 45 points better. But somehow games there tend to end up harder than they should. I'll take Purdue +31 even though they are a horrifically bad team.
*OSU is now a solid #4 in the computers. Just a matter of winning out and waiting for two losses. I still don't see FSU losing and we'll know by November 10th if both Oregon and Alabama will lose.
*20 and counting!
Dan Patrick: What was your reaction to [Urban Meyer being hired]? Brady Hoke: You know.....not....good.
Ohio and the football program treat the Michigan game as if it really matters
Michigan prefers this "oh this is just another game" approach. Basically the John Cooper approach. You see the results it gets you over the last dozen years. I prefer the "obsessive" method

I can assure you. Michigan has never taken the osu game as just another game. Where did that come from?
The results over the last decade are due to (1) cheating by osu under tressel, (2) massive talent differential since maybe 2004, (3) the Rodriguez disaster and it's after math.
Going forward, I don't see much of a change. osu desperately needs high level competition in the conference. I don't think it is going to come from M anytime soon.
You boys are on your own to find the national recognition you seek. You might want to start by rising to the top of the heap in 2013, playing Bama or Oregon, whipping those guys and proving that the team is as good as the fans and ufm think it is.
Mission to CFB's National Championship accomplished. But the shine on the NC Trophy is embarrassingly wearing off. It's M B-Ball ..... or hockey or volley ball or name your college sport favorite time ...... until next year.
