  • Keep hope alive! A better day is ON THE WAY!
Dan Patrick: What was your reaction to [Urban Meyer being hired]?
    Brady Hoke: You know.....not....good.

    • Well in truth apart from when we do sneak in and win that title, the another great day will be when Urban Meyer quits OSU prematurely. Be it thanks to investigations or mortal turpitude or overall public outrage or a ``health problem'', that's going to be some fun schadenfreude.

      • Yeah he'll get hospitalized for "dehydration" one of these days.

        • Sneaking in and winning a title is more likely. Unfortunately for you, UFM will cause you problems for awhile. On the upside, he should coach enough games against M that you boys will inevitably beat him once -- maybe even twice!

            • Hopefully Urbz and staff made calls to all of Michigan's recruits after the past two weeks, asking them if they liked what they saw, Coach Hoke's impressive gametime demeanor, the creative use of offensive talent, etc.

                • If anything, future M players should have looked at the last couple games and seen that there were plenty of immediate opportunities.

If I was an elite offensive line men, QB, RB or a WR, I'd be thinking real hard about whether or not I 'd want to be coached by any of the offense's staff after what I saw v. Akron and UCONN.
Mission to CFB's National Championship accomplished. But the shine on the NC Trophy is embarrassingly wearing off. It's M B-Ball ..... or hockey or volley ball or name your college sport favorite time ...... until next year.

                    • Unfortunately, that's not the way recruiting generally works. The kids they have lined up like the staff and feel comfortable with them. That's why they chose M over other name programs. Dammit all to hell!

                      • Doesn't seem like it, but I'm with Jeff. If I'm a QB recruit I'm not going to choose the QB guru that gets results if I didn't like the guy at first, but I'm not going with the lovable loser either.
