the "violation of team rules" was that Murray was occupying a roster/scolly spot for a higher rated future recruit .... this is just Meyer brining Saban rules to the B1G ... he's a smart cookie.
I guess if violating team rules gets you booted, and Carlos Hyde did not get booted, then it follows that trying to hit a girl at 2am in a bar is not a violation of team rules?
