Bo kicked Ohio A & M 's ass, that is all that matters.
I thought M didn't care about Ohio State. I thought only OSU held their coaches to that standard. Afterall, I've heard dundereheaded spiels about how Cooper was fired because he couldn't beat M.
It's ok, OP, to speak the truth. We all know beating OSU is what matters to M. We all know that UFM was going to wreck the B10. I thank you for speaking candidly to both points while the massively dishonest pretend it ain't so. You may be a total, unrepetent flamer of a poster, but every once in awhile you tell it like it is. And that beats most here.
Dan Patrick: What was your reaction to [Urban Meyer being hired]? Brady Hoke: You know.....not....good.
In actual team related news that no one cares about, Carlos Hyde will be off the team. He may be reinstated if the allegations prove unfounded, but until then, see ya.
Dan Patrick: What was your reaction to [Urban Meyer being hired]? Brady Hoke: You know.....not....good.
The upside, I guess, is that OSU's 3rd string RB is better than anyone M has. So, in the end, it hurts, but it's not a death blow. Of course, with a team that talented, there's only one death blow and that starts with a B and rhymes with Saxton.

Excellent. Since that must be the case with the entire team, I suggest that you call Coach Meyer and have him leave the entire first two strings at home, rather than bothering to bring them to Ann Arbor. After all, if he leaves them in Columbus, they can spend more time at the library and study for tests, and stuff ...

Allegedly involved in altercation that involved some sort of contact with woman. It's non-negotiable, absolute dismissal until cleared. End of story.
Laughable. We all know how "tough" Meyer is on crime.
Bet Hyde has been enrolled in Meyer's prestigious summer school program of "Family Studies", the moment he finishes his chalkboard course work, he will be reinstated without prejudice just in time for mighty Buffalo.
Lesson learned!
Just think, if Meyer actually cared about anyone but himself, Hernandez would have been arrested in Gainesville long ago and perhaps 3+ (or more) people would actually be alive today.

Just when you thought it couldn't get any worse for Meyer, Talent & DSL, guess what? It did.
Report: Ohio State RB Carlos Hyde Allegedly Punched Cops Daughter In Face
Things are heating up in Columbus, Ohio this morning, and sources say the news is not good for Ohio State or my wonderful boss here at BSO. Men Of The Scarlet And Gray is reporting that Ohio State stud running back Carlos Hyde is being accused of punching the daughter of a cop in the face this weekend just before 2 a.m. Saturday morning at Sugar Bar 2 on Front Street in Columbus’ Arena District. Accusations against Carlos Hyde http://t.co/FDxoGxRcCf Here is our story it is not complete but here is what and when we knew. — Jeremiah (@SYRmotsag) July 22, 2013 Reports say Hyde allegedly got upset with the young woman because Hyde insisted she dance with him, and she refused. At that point, Hyde allegedly punched her in the face and ran off. Again this is all speculation and reports at this point, but several reports indicate that Hyde is to be suspended, and wasn’t at a team meeting on Monday morning. I am hearing from my sources that Carlos Hyde has been suspended indefinitely and Again this is all speculation and reports at this point, but several reports indicate that Hyde is to be suspended, and wasn’t at a team meeting on Monday morning.

Really the crux of the matter...Hyde ran for nearly1000 yards last year, his replacements gained less than 1/2 that combined.
With Michigan's Derrick Green about to launch as a superstar, a better back potentially than they have ever seen in Columbus for over 100 years, Meyer is losing serious sleep at the moment. Hello Big Ten Championship.
In keeping with its theme this week of projecting college football success over the next three seasons, ESPN has published a top-10 list of individual players bound for stardom.
No. 4 on the list is incoming freshman Derrick Green of Michigan, rated the top running back in the nation by Scout.com for the 2013 recruiting class.
“If ever there was an identity-defining running back for an offensive philosophy, it's Green,” writes ESPN’s Tom Luginbill. “Michigan wants nothing more than to get back to power football via a controlled passing game based off play-action, and Green is the right back to execute it. Not only do we expect him to get significant playing time as a true freshman, but we expect him to be a bell-cow back, in similar fashion to Montee Ball at Wisconsin (only Green is bigger and more physical and might be faster).”
Green (5-11, 220 pounds) is a five-star prospect from Hermitage High in Richmond, Va.
Senior Fitz Toussaint is expected to enter Michigan's fall camp as the No. 1 running back, and others expected to be in the mix are junior Thomas Rawls, sophomore Justice Hayes and incoming freshman Deveon Smith.

Just the facts..... Of course there are those out there already spinning that this team will be fine without Hyde at running back. If he is gone from the team you mean to tell me you're fine with losing a guy who rushed for nearly 1,000 yards and replacing him with a stable of backs who combined to rush for just over HALF of what Hyde ran for alone last season.... If you want to spin yourself that all will be fine in Buckeye nation go for it, but I'm not buying it one bit.

Hits just keep coming, as if Nick Saban & to a lesser extent Les Miles ran Urban Meyer out of the SEC wasn't enough, now this?
Ohio State running back Carlos Hyde reportedly dismissed from team
COLUMBUS, Ohio -Ohio State starting running back Carlos Hyde has reportedly been dismissed from the team, and star cornerback Bradley Roby was also arrested in Indianapolis over the weekend, according to the Columbus Dispatch.
Hyde's loss is a blow to the Buckeyes, but if Roby has problems, the Buckeyes could really be in trouble.
Hyde was named as a person of interest in a Columbus Police Department report involving an alleged assault late Friday night. The information about the police report was first obtained by 11 Warriors.
No arrests have been made at this time. In the brief statement from the female victim in the report, she alleged she was assaulted and did not know the suspect, but could identify him.
According to the report, the incident happened at Sugar Bar 2 on Front Street in Columbus just before 2 a.m. Saturday morning.
At the Woody Hayes Athletic Center Monday morning, the player parking was full before 7 a.m. Players began leaving the building around 7:40 a.m. A team spokesman outside the building said that the team was expected to provide an update on a situation regarding the team sometime today.
Ohio State has not offered any further information that this point. Last year, linebacker Storm Klein was dismissed from the team after charges were filed against him, but he was allowed back on the team after the most serious charges were dropped.
