Just the irrefutable FACTS. I so love REALITY.

*Ohio State has won B10 football championships in 6 of the past 8 years. And, of course, was by far and away the best team in the league this season and proud Leaders Division Champs!

*Ohio State hoops has won B10 regular season championships in 5 of the past 8 years. Unfortunately, M choked to cost them 6 of 8.

*Ohio State has won B10 tournament 4 times in the past 8 years. No other B10 school has won it more than once.

*Since 2005, Ohio State has won 11 football/basketball championships in 16 tries and 4 tournament titles in 8 tries for a total of 15 out of 24. Michigan State and Wisconsin are second with 5 total championships, followed by Penn State, who won 2.

*Ohio State remains the ONLY B10 schools to even play in a BCS Title game. They've done it 3 times.

Ohio State's dominance in the revenue sports is indisputable. Total domination.

But in non-revenue sports, Ohio State fairs nearly as well.

*Ohio State has been the highest ranked B10 school in the Sears Director's Cup 4 times since 2005 (4 out of 7), though they appear likely to drop to 4 of 8 this season.

*Ohio State has finished in the top 4 each of the past two years and hasn't been outside the top 12 in any season since 2005.

*Ohio State offers 36 varsity sports, the most in the country.

I would like to read about Ohio as well as other B1G ten teams, but it would be nice if there was something useful rather than regurgitation of facts, expletives, complaints that expletive-riddled or derisive posts were deleted, etc. I open this thread hoping that there will be something of interest. It really is a shame Regel, Heater, and Paul S are no longer posting. I also miss Tunz and hearing about Iowa. Even the old Sparty posters were better than what this thread has devolved too. One simply needs to compare and contrast the Nebraska and Ohio threads to understand.

I know why Paul S, Regelbuck and Heater no longer contribute here. Paul S has reasons that I'll not discuss in here out of respect for our friendship. Heater got transferred to a new duty station, and he told me that posting from there was going to be too difficult. Regelbuck told me he was leaving to focus on other areas of his life. He felt he was spending too much time on line. I have respect for those men, and the reasons they left. None of them left because of me, or any other Michigan fan here. In fact, their last communications to me were quite cordial. Paul S and I continue to correspond on another site.

For now, I don't care what OlieO fans talk about in here. Flail away at me, eat cotton candy, crap all over "coach no titles" ... whatever "floats your flagship".

I will continue to moderate the forum any way I please. That includes this thread.

Those 2012 highlights are nice, DSL, but a little annoying. I can't believe OSU did everything they could to keep M in that game. Of course, giving them that glimmer of hope and then crushing them might have been more painful. I think I prefer that to the previous assrailings in Columbus.
