        • Brady Hoke: 1 division title (no conf titles) in 10 years as a head coach. The equal of Nick Saban.

Maybe he should have had rings made back in 2008 to celebrate the MAC West title. Probably the last chance he'll get. Too bad Ball State didn't have the money.

Oh wait, yes, Michigan did pass out rings for its 2nd place finish in 2011 to celebrate its triumphant win in the Sugar Bowl.

              • Well done, DSL.

In the end, M fans proclaim Coach No-Titles the equal of Coach Hoke.

                Total fucking retards.

That's pretty much all I need to remember. Well, that and:

                26 > 21

                8 > 1

                16 > 1

                ....you know, total FLAGSHIP dominance.

                • Statistics with meaningless, hand-picked timelines = real talent.

How many of Tressell's wins over Lloyd were when he didn't employ (yes, employ as in employee) a star player (Terrelle "new loaner car every semester" Pryor, Troy "$500 handshakes" Smith or Maurice 'made more playing in Ohio than professionally' Clarrett) to command his offense?

Yes, M's revenue sports were both in the dumpster for much of the past decade (nearly two decade in hoops), even Sparty can do the > M thing.

Problem is M has two excellent coaches in Hoke & Beilein that is getting M back to where they belong, leaders and the best and the flagship is about to sink.

                  • Excuses, excuses, excuses. Take your prison-raping like a man. Or bitch. Whatever.

The problem is that OSU has two more accomplished coaches. I could recite the "meaningless" stats for you, but FACTS leave M fans unconscious in a ditch with more of their teeth missing. The FLAGSHIP sails on.

                    16 > 1. 16 > 1.

                    • Quick refresher on factual world Ohio State continues its unquestioned role as the FLAGSHIP:

*Ohio State has won B10 football championships in 6 of the past 8 years. And, of course, was by far and away the best team in the league this season and proud Leaders Division Champs!

*Ohio State hoops has won B10 regular season championships in 5 of the past 8 years. Unfortunately, M choked to cost them 6 of 8.

*Ohio State has won B10 tournament 4 times in the past 8 years. No other B10 school has won it more than once.

*Since 2005, Ohio State has won 11 football/basketball championships in 16 tries and 4 tournament titles in 8 tries for a total of 15 out of 24. Michigan State and Wisconsin are second with 5 total championships, followed by Penn State, who won 2.

*Ohio State remains the ONLY B10 schools to even play in a BCS Title game. They've done it 3 times.

Ohio State's dominance in the revenue sports is indisputable. Total domination.

But in non-revenue sports, Ohio State fairs nearly as well.

*Ohio State has been the highest ranked B10 school in the Sears Director's Cup 4 times since 2005 (4 out of 7), though they appear likely to drop to 4 of 8 this season.

*Ohio State has finished in the top 4 each of the past two years and hasn't been outside the top 12 in any season since 2005.

*Ohio State offers 36 varsity sports, the most in the country.

                      In AD-related current events:

Finally, Brady Hoke, as of today, has still yet to win a conference title as a head coach. 10 years and counting:

                      • Every one of those stats is like cotton candy. Looks good, .. smells good, .. and ohio fans love cotton candy.

Problem with cotton candy is, in spite how pleasant it is to look at, smell, and even eat it, it provides no nutritional value, and its overall bad for you. Too much of it makes you sick. So, go ahead and fill up on those cotton candy stats. They'll fade away just as quickly as cotton candy in a rainstorm.

                        • Good analogy.

The bottom line is this -- they will never know the joy of winning clean. They are inferior. They can only get to par with us by cheating. They know the feeling of cheating to win and still getting whipped -- humiliated -- by a clean program run by their archrival. That's why they hate us. Because they will never get the joy that we get out of it.

The problem with this logic is that through the wonderful powers of cognitive dissonance and stupidity, Buckeye fans have genuinely convinced themselves that they were winning cleanly.

                            • Well that's how it starts -- you construct an alternate state in which you do not have to process reality as it stands. It ends with you unshaven, wearning torn clothing and reeking of the dumpster you slept in last night. Buckeyes will be soon be pretty easy to see coming -- or smell coming -- from hundreds of feet away. That will be a net benefit for society.
