  • No Liney, they are still in port. I will find out who the owner is, no one in the Miami Beach marina seems to know, I am just curious, suspect it's an NBC major shareholder.

ND was Headquartered at Monty's at the Miami Beach Marina while Alabama was stationed at the Clevelander Hotel on Ocean Drive, an antiquated hillbilly brothel, IMO, just 10 blocks away.

Side note: Nice to see Ohio where they belong under M, proximity south, next to the colon, hurts their value too.
      Auburn ahead of Alabama? WTF?

        • On top of the $3.3M or whatever OSU paid its staff, they also doled out nearly $800K in bonuses.

I heard that after one coordinator doubled his hooker expenses for the 2001 recruiting class, Tressellov demanded that all recruiters double their rate of hooker procurement in his Second Five Year Plan. This created all sorts of perverse economic effects, such as demand for hookers soaring. Effectively all females in Ohio became hookers, including the bovine varieties.

Talent, I mailed my bowl fee several weeks ago, just looked at my checking account online, noticed the check has not cleared as of yet? Are you in receipt of payment?

                  • "Mike Hancho" and his little brother "CallOfDuty" take 1st and 2nd if assclown Spurrier simply kicks a single PAT with 11 seconds left in the game, instead of going for the low % age 2!

                    1/2 point my ass!!

                    • Boy, that game was really a donkey kick for Team OP. South Carolina daggers M then hoses Team OP with the non-cover.

Knowing that, easily my favorite bowl game of the season!

Though, Team OP did benefit from miraculous Cincinnati cover. I mean, Duke is going in for the WINNING TD in a tie game with 2 minutes left -- and they don't cover the 7.5! Good day to be backing the Bearcats, lemme tell you!

                      • Throw RR and Arizona on the pile and of course Air Force gave Michigan all they could handle but drop to 6-6 Powerhouse Rice!?!

It obvious Spurrier has no respect for the Vegas spread, a coach is obligated to cover and then some...it's written in Las Vegas Town Charter.

Still, 21-13 at halftime, easily could have been twice that, fully expect coach Hokie Pokie & Co. to impalement their infamous Ohio St. 2nd half adjustments, but no.

                        • Fortunately for me, the line had dropped to 4.5 by gametime. My wager on Gamecocks was spared Spurrier extra poin shenanigans and emerged a gentle half point winner! Though, I confess it looked like a loser with 45 seconds to play.

                            • "Burke sent to 'Craft Island'" -- http://collegebasketballtalk.nbcsports.com/2013/01/14/breaking-down-trey-burke-and-the-perils-craft-island/

I think I mentioned something like this, but I like the way Beilein put it:

You see, Ohio State has the luxury of matching up perfectly with the Wolverines. Craft is such an unbelievable on-the-ball defender that Thad Matta could simply put him on an island against Burke. As John Beilein put it, Ohio State ?locked the rails and made you pay two-on-two in the middle.? They didn?t help off of Tim Hardaway Jr. or Nik Stauskas or Glenn Robinson III. The Buckeyes simply allowed Burke to try to beat Craft one-on-one or in the pick-and-roll.
We'll see if the Goofers are able to do the same thing. And I'm almost certain IU can't. We'll see. But the ability to check Burke with 1 guy and generally no help (but for a big-man hedge) and not get toasted for 30 is huge. That said, Burke can get that step-back 3 any time against Craft because Craft isn't tall. If he's hitting that, it's lights out. Fortunately, that's an f'n NBA move, so I don't see that consistently falling for Burke -- yet. It will, but I think he'll be several years removed from M when it does.

                              • Incidentally, Brandon Knight hit almost the same shot over Craft in the NCAA to beat OSU that Burke just missed at the end. It was from 18 instead of a 3, but it was buit of a step back jumper from a guy who hadn't really done shit all game.

Would have much rather Burke's gone down and Knight's missed. Bah.
