Yep. If not for Al Borges, Michigan wins.

    • Perhapsm UFM will be foiled in 2013. Looking at the schedule, though, I have to say, Ann Arbor is about the best chance.

Until then, UFM remains perfect for the B10. And No-Titles remains, well, no-titles.

      FLAGSHIP.

Anything other than the combination of a twice-a-decade team that is loaded with fifth year seniors (like our 2003 team) and OSU rebuilding means Michigan automatically loses. And the soonest possible candidate for that is 2015. When you have a mediocre (at best) offensive coordinator and an offensive line coach that is total deadweight, it is a serious hinderance to your program.

        • Hanni, your misery always balms my soul, but you, unfortunately, always overstate your plight.

          • No kidding. It was a 5-point game, on the road, committing four turnovers, without our 3-year starting QB (to throw at least, which was probably a good thing...), replaced by a backup in only his 4th career game of meaningful action, who played 2/3 of the season at WR.Oh, and our starting RB out as well. But yeah, I guess things will never get better.

            • I still can't get used to seeing osu and Nebraska play spread offense. God, I miss power football. Alabama and Stanford are my favorite teams to watch besides Michigan.

              • We could have used Denard as our RB. A five year old child could have told you that was the only chance that we would ever have to achive some sort of balance. Instead, we thought that it would be a good idea to run a speed option and 3rd and 3 where the pitch man is a midget with 4.7 speed, and the defense can play with 11 men in the box because there's no chance whatsoever that the QB can throw. Retarded playcalling. I'll bet that Luke Fickell was laughing his ass off over that one. That's what happens when you take Devin Gardner off the field. Gardner has been putting up Robert Griffin III type numbers. You know how many pass attempts he had today? 20. And five of those came on our last posession. Before that, he was 10-15 for 161 yards and a TD.

                • Carlos Hyde still brings a lot of the old power football.

                  • Congrats on today and you'd better enjoy it, you two. Despite Al Borges and defense of RR prospects and three turnovers in the second half leaving you with less than half the field to go, you barely beat Michigan. Once Hoke's got some players in here, Michigan will be beating you with one hand tied behind its back. Or, if it is smart and cans Borges, it will be pummeling your sorry asses to smithereens.

For today, fuck's sakes. FUCK AL BORGES.

12-0 is good start but unfortunately it falls short, only 85.7% of the actual season. No Conference Title Game (ineligible, CG ban) followed by No BCS Bowl game (ineligible, bowl ban) does not a perfect season make, Revise and resubmit. Close but no cigar.

As for the AP voting OSU #1 without having to play a Conference title or BCS Bowl is simply nonsense. It would be incredulous to vote Ohio ahead of any BCS Bowl winner, having dodged two of the most difficult games to be played all season.

                        Heh heh heh...

I, for one, am terrified at what this means for the future. This is the most talented OSU team Meyer will ever have and he could barely beat a MAC-level opponent today. Very disturbing.

Only way the AP vote happens is if everyone else has 1 loss and every SEC team has 2 losses.

But today's victory does seem hollow and empty. I'd gladly trade it for a trip to the 7th Annual Pep Boys Bowl presented by Prudential Insurance. That's what college football is really about.

                          • I make no comment on how much talent you have. I just know you had more than us and you should have, given that our OC is a double agent and that you got handed the ball in our territory three times, should have put this game away early in the fourth. You failed.

Enjoy today, though -- your win. In whatever sick, twisted way you people do down there.

                            • Admit it, you guys were expecting a blowout, serving M a big bowl of dick, an ass-pounding, etc., and it never happened. Not sure if Saint Urban is saving his "coaching genius" for the coming years (so as not to show his hand too early), but I don't think Hoke & Co. are overly concerned.I can see M giving Toledo and Kent St a run for their money next year.

                              • I concede that it was a huge moral victory for Michigan. I can see you guys getting plenty more of those.
