  • When you've got one player on offense that can make plays and it is your offense, coaches lean on him. That's what Rodrigues did with Denard and he played one season hurting. That's what's happening to miller. Sounds like he's ok. Good for him.

This is the worst osu team I've see in a decade. They tackle poorly, make too many mistakes, play poor special teams. I suspect its transition. I'd like to think ufm sucks but I know better.

Bottom line, this is the worst 8-0 team in CFB history. Purdue beat osu in every respect ..... Except the score. You two fuckers need o get your arms around this fact and embrace it.
Mission to CFB's National Championship accomplished. But the shine on the NC Trophy is embarrassingly wearing off. It's M B-Ball ..... or hockey or volley ball or name your college sport favorite time ...... until next year.

    • And yet, Flagship. Embrace that. Fortunatelty, you've had 10 years of practice embracing that FACT.

        Deal with it.

        CHEATERS.

Dude a few tatoos and you'd think we were like Penn State-chill out. I still respect the fab five of UM in B-ball cause I saw their TALENT despite the fact they were busted. You cannot denY the talent OSU has had
          either .

          • I do not deny the talent (or Talent) for that matter. I do believe that what we came to know about Tressel (has nothing to do with tattoos, it's the cover-up that's the issue) and the other information from Clarett and others provided Ohio with a well-earned asterisk for the past decade. Gotta love it.

              • 8-0. Flagship.

M fans know this. And it kills them. It reminds them of what M once was (pre-Great War). Now they just settle for beating MSU once every 5 years and OSU once every 10. Hilarious.

                • Soon there will be two teams atop the B10 annually instead of one.

                  • The flagship needs to learn how to put a proper whupping on the Purdue's of the world before truly becoming a flagship ...

                    I mean, I'm just sayin' ....

You almost always forget Buchanan's proclamation that this is a total flame thread and post something reasonable.

Yeah, it's on its way to being a two-team league, IMO. As has been discussed at length, M may not be there until 2014, but they're on their way.

                      • Well that's up to you. It's less of a flame thread during the season, which is reasonable, but you do not always meet your high-minded standards then. Again -- understandable. As you realize, we're coming to your town soon, and you're not gonna be ready.

                        • Well, it's not really up to me. I can either talk to myself or engage others in like conversation.

Now, hush, I'm going to go track down the latest rumors on Miller, who, IMO, won't play at HV.

                          • '14 maybe too early, M will have lots of seniors in '13 who'll graduate: Devin Gardner (redshirt maybe), Fitzgerald Toussaint, Jeremy Gallon, Drew Dileo, Taylor Lewan, Michael Schofield... That is a 100% turnover from '12 other than arguably Funchess...

Defensively in '13 M will have Quinton Washington, Jibreel Black, Nathan Brink & Marvin Robinson as likely senior starters. Only Clark, Morgan, Ryan, Countess & Taylor are underclassman starters in '12 who'll be here in '14.

                            • And here is the most recent rumor:

                              - I have a source that is close to Braxton's family.
                              - I can't vouch for the info, but I'm confident enough to give it.
                              - Braxton has severely bruised ribs. So bad that the medical staff first thought he had a punctered lung. Turns out that after receiving ice and anti-inflammitories, his ribs and lungs are fine, just REALLY sore.
                              - He has passed concussion tests, but has a lot of concussion symptoms. Apparently, they cut is helmet off in the locker room due to his head pain and he was very confused. He was asking when the game was going to start. They asked him if he meant who was winning, and he corrected himself then. That points to neuro problems even though he checked out otherwise.

Again, this is third hand information. However, for me, it's enough to give me pause about his ability to return in the short run. Personally, I would be surprised if he played in the next couple weeks.

Do with this what you will...

                              • True, WM, but I think you'll see younger guys filtering up making the turnover less of a problem. I mean, of the guys you listed who graduate in 2013, Lewan is a next-level player for sure. Other than that, not so much. Plus, my guess is for 2014 the they will have 5-6 kids coming back on the OL with lots of game experience.

Next year is the growing pains year, IMO. But the schedule is far more favorable -- no Bama and ND is losing a shitload. So I think 8-4 the worst they'll be next season, and probably more like 9-3/10-2. TBH, though, I don't know who M plays interdivision. Illinois and Purdue are off, so it's 2 of IU/Wisky/PSU.
