From rivals:
Some guy named QUBE posted this on an OSU site and someone from BWI copied it. Good stuff. Hope I did this right:

Thread starts out with a prediction from Beano Cooke that 2011 will be final season for Tressel and that U Meyer will take over. QUBE replies...
Q:I agree with him, but sooner rather than later *
Q:I won't be surprised if JT never makes it back to the sidelines *

Someone chimes in that difference is Cooke is guessing, QUBE knows. QUBE replies
Q: Nothing factual, but I have some strong feelings based on what I've heard *
AP: Has the source of your information provided you an opinion as to why
1. Gee and Smith support Tressel publicly and without equivocation?
2. Why they have not yet fired JT?
3. Why he is allowed to coach spring ball/ isn't suspended from his duties?
4 Why Tressel is allowed to recruit student athletes?
5. Why our four verbal commits for 2012 haven't jumped ship?
6. Why Smith, 2 NCAA investigators and the firm known as the Compliance Group got it so wrong?
As earlier in the day, forgive the pointedness of my questions. I don't doubt you spoke/speak to someone from where you intimated. However, so do I. And though issues abound( as they do at every NCAA Ath. Dept.) I am hearing a projected ultimate outcome vastly different than yours. Again, forgive my inquisition. I am simply fascinated by your perspective
Q: Answer to questions 1-5...denial (m)...
What I have done is offered my opinion based on what I've heard. Some old stuff has come to the surface that is definitely something that should have been reported to the NCAA. It wasn't and it's obvious to everyone that it should have been reported. Can OSU claim that JT didn't know about this? I'm not so sure...I can tell you that all are saying he did know and did nothing, but I haven't heard of proof that prove he did know, such as emails like Tatgate. The similarities to what has surfaced and Tatgate are stunning...coach hears something, deals directly with involved players, but doesn't report to the NCAA. I truly believe that JT has made a career of looking the other way and it has finally caught up with him. The national media is forcing the NCAA to dig real deep.
AP: This raises further questions. Bear with me.
1. The " old things". Surfaced to the NCAA?
2. Parties in denial that "old things" happened, are a problem, or will be found out by NCAA
3. Are the "everyone" to whom it is obvious that the "old things" should have been reported Gee, Smith,Tressel and or Ath. Dept personnel?
Q: Old things...from the 2005-2007 time period...Let's say a couple players did something really, really bad and the coach finds out about it. What if the coach decides not only to not punish the players, but also decides not to share this information with anyone else? Same situation with Tatgate- he knew, he made a decision and it was the wrong decision. There is a pattern here, which is coming to light. He has kept some things to himself that he needed to share with the NCAA. I'm not certain if he shared them with the athletic department or not- if he did, then there will be others gone, too.

Q: To follow up from yesterday (m)
I got tied up and didn't get to respond much- as always, it's not my intent to dump a bunch of garbage on here to fire people up, so if you don't want to read this stuff, you can stop reading here.
What I was referencing yesterday was that I am hearing of some things that have been brought to light, that had previously been brushed under the carpet and forgotten about, but this investigation, as well as the digging by the media, have brought them to the surface again. I won't get into specifics, but it is something that needed to be shared with the NCAA and wasn't when we found out about it. In other words, the same situation with Tatgate...we knew, we looked the other way, and it was forgotten about...until about a month ago.
Here's my opinion, so take this for what it's worth. JT is a good, honorable man. If I had a son, there is no one else I'd want him to play for. But we have seen in the past how he can look the other way. I can think of many instances where this has been the case- maybe tell a little fib and no one presses you. Do you think that he didn't notice that Mo C was showing up to practice in many different cars? Remember when he didn't make TP available to the media for our bowl game (Rose?) even though it was required, and he had some nonsense about he didn't know? I think that he has seen many things that he has chosen to keep internal, but some of them needed to be shared with the NCAA. That is the issue.
How will this end? I don't think it ends well for JT, which is very sad for me because I love the guy. It just depends what the NCAA learns, and what I've heard isn't good.
