You are comparing Rich Rod with Meyer?

Where has anyone said Meyer's "not nearly as proven a winner as Hoke"? Because we're not sucking him off like you and talent are?
22 of the 24 starters from UF's NC team in '06 were Zook's recruits, and Lord Frank shit shamrocks with Tebow; my Lab could've coached that team to the NC.
Pardon us M fans if we're not impressed with another lying, cheating, "look the other way" coach in the similar mold as your past Lord and Savior.

        • Meyer's a great coach so why deny it? It offends one's sense of justice to see OSU luck into an elite coach after all this, but so be it. Life isn't fair. Plus, linesman's right -- we got our guys and we like those guys. Let's hope Meyer runs a clean program and we can get back to a balanced rivalry.

          • It doesn't have to be "balanced" to satisfy me. I'd take a "tilt" our way for a decade or so ... like they just had ...

            • We had one though, and it was legit unlike theirs. Another lopsided decade and who outside the conference is going to be interested anymore? It's time for the rivalry to get back to being a real rivalry. It was a good sign that OSU hung tough last week, even though I wanted the satisfaction of beating them bad. Rivalry games should always be close.

              • I'll take the lopsided blowout wins, thx.

                • We all would, up to a point. OSU fans were getting sick of it last year. At some point it ceases to be a meaningful rivalry if there's no tight games to sweat through and no big plays to remember forever. Furthermore we can call those guys a lot of things and be right about it but incompetent isn't one of them. They're not going to be a walkover, especially with how they cheat, so what's the sense in hoping? Might was well hope for the best for The Game and reap the rewards of being a part of it.

Gibberish. Zook lost 5 games every year with those ungodly good players you say a lab could've coached to a title. This also conveniently overlooks the national title in 2008 with almost entirely Meyer recruits and a 12-1 season in 2009. If Zook is responsible for the 2006 title, then Rich Rod without a doubt is responsible for Michigan's solid season in 2011.

At least hack isn't stricken with this "what has Meyer ever really done?" disease.

                    • Well no but it's a ``what have you done for me lately world'' and Meyer has NEVER beaten UM. Based on the current trends I predict Meyer will go 3-21 in 2 seasons and then move on to become the executive director of The Second Mile.

                          Wrong. It is Mike Barwis.

                          • The FlagShip "Ohio Bobcats" squandered a 20 point halftime lead en route to losing the MAC title game to Northern Illinois.

Hard to say which team is the greater choke artist of the Buckeye State......Does it hail from Columbus or Athens? Oh the pain.....

Last, these Ohio FlagShips are sinking left & right, I suppose the honor now falls to the Thunder Canyon Ride at Cedar Point?

Mike Barwis is retiring from cage fighting in the Octagon again to join RR in the desert. Wonder if Gerg's phone is ringing?

                              • Meyer is a ver good coach period. If DSL wants to invent a story that all M fans are comparing Meyer to Hoke and putting Meyer down in order to pump himself up, let DSL go ahead. Fits in nicely with his other DeluSionaL rants.
