Allegedly Urban Meyer cheated with RichRod AND a WVU cheerleader AND a bevy of nubile Florida co-eds while his wife watched on closed circuit TV from the living room.

LOL@ the imagined conversation as well as ``improper benefits''.
That said, thanks for passing along and with the proper caveats, but it makes no sense that Ms Meyer is comforted by the relative lack of female talent at OSU. I've been to Gainesville; it's a normal college town. There are beautiful girls everywhere on the planet.

Interesting OC pick. As I said, I don't think you will see a whole bunch of change in osu's offense other than it will be better than what Bollman concocts. Correct me if I'm wrong but BGSU runs what seems to me to be a WCO style offense with a pro-style QB. Maybe I'm confusing this with WMU. LSU is a hybrid power offense with a lot of zone reads all the way ...... that fits very well what osu is doing now. Forget the finesse spread. Not going to see it from Urban.
...... anyway, no worry from this Michigan fan. Urban improves the cred and resume of the B10. He's a great coach and recruiter. osu is going to have the same sorts of issues as any team has with a wholesale change in coaching staffs. Things will be slow to get going but I think Urban will have the bucks doing well much quicker than is typical in these coaching changes. He's that good.
Frankly, I can't see Urban taking this job with a bowl ban on the horizon for osu. As much as I think that is appropriate, not going to happen. I'd also say that the Meyer hiring also portends little if any changes in the scholarship reductions than has already been announced.
What Brady Hoke and his staff and his players have to do is punish osu for all their past cheating by beating osu on the field, starting Saturday and continuing that for as long as possible. That will be enough for me since I never expected the NCAA, with smith's lips locked around the dicks of the deciders, to have the balls to do what was right in the first place.Last edited by Jeff Buchanan; November 22, 2011, 01:26 PM.Mission to CFB's National Championship accomplished. But the shine on the NC Trophy is embarrassingly wearing off. It's M B-Ball ..... or hockey or volley ball or name your college sport favorite time ...... until next year.

I believe that "Urban is a done deal" part, but the staff part sounds like BS. Without a hire having even been announced the most you could have set up is maybe one or two assistants. Urban will have to assemble a staff, which means that he'll have to make his wish lists and interview candidates. The star coordinators of the Meyer era at Florida were Mattison, Charlie Strong, and Dan Mullen. All of them have jobs that they aren't leaving.

If UM's headed there than that's confirmation for me that the NCAA penalties surely will be just a slap on the wrist. OSU's gonna get away with it. That makes it that much more important for the good guys to bash them senseless on Saturday. It is mandatory to set the tone for the new era.

I can't even imagine the pressure on M knowing that this is their chance to win; knowing that that it will be another 3-4 years before they have a good chance to win again; knowing that a loss on Saturday will surely mean at least 10 in row. Unfortunately, I think OSU's shitball team just doesn't quite have it. I guess I'll have to settle for 10 of 11 instead of 11 in a row. Dark days.
In truth, there's hardly any better way to close out such a craptastic year than the ultimate in disgraceful losses. Fortunately, the book is closed on this season and all its misery by close of business Monday, and the glory of 2012 is upon us by Tuesday. Can't wait -- wish I could fast-forward through Saturday -- but, still -- can't wait.
Tally ho. Make the most of Saturday -- it's going to be awhile after that....again.Dan Patrick: What was your reaction to [Urban Meyer being hired]?
Brady Hoke: You know.....not....good.
