Bad, bad shooting tonight. Primarily from William Buford who was a shitastic 2 for 18. Kentucky's defense had a lot to do with that. But amazing that we still nearly won despite shooting 31%

I apologize if this makes me non-pc, but I just can't find it in me to feel badly for a schmucknut loss. At this point, I'm not "rooting" for anyone in the tournament, but I'd never, EVER "root" for OhNo to win anything. I'd rather hit myself in the head with a hammer, than rood for OhNo State."in order to lead America you must love America"

Stole this from someone who commented at the Dr. Saturday site:
"When Tressel hooked up with a punk like Pryor and his posse of Jeannette mafia types, his fate was sealed." Tressel is just Al Davis with a different wardrobe and public persona. Just Win Baby!I'll let you ban hate speech when you let me define hate speech.

Here's the thing that gets me. Tressel is a successful coach. He had no need to cover this up. His job was not threatened. If he just reports the incidents when they happen, yeah 2010 ends up being forfeit for the Buckeyes, but that is the end of it. Those 5 players get suspended for a while and we're done.
Tressel is also not stupid. He had to know that if this ever got out, he could be in a shit-pile of trouble, especially after begging to keep them eligible for the Sugar Bowl.
So why would he pick NOW to take a risk like this? This is the kind of risk that guys take when their jobs are theatened. OR it is the kind of risk that guys take who do it ALL THE TIME. I can't believe Tressel would just choose NOW to take the huge risk of a big cover up, unless he's been pulling stuff off for years and figured he could bury it just like he's buried all the old crap too.
Obviously this is a 100% circumstantial analysis not fit for any real investigation. But psychologically, I can't imagine why Tressel would risk his entire career over this issue unless these sorts of things were just part of the standard operating procedure. This is just the one he got caught for.

Well, I'm ready to move beyond that. There is no honor in beating cheaters. No joy in putting down an enemy that lacks any semblence of integity.
Bring on Nebraska
I can't think about the words Nebraska or integrity without thinking about Scott Frost on the podium Jan 2, 1998, not to mention Lawrence Phillips.
Re OSU/Kentucky, that was an amazing game and it's probably time to put to rest some of the criticisms of Calipari. His team played great D, moved the ball, and did all the things that well-coaches teams do. He's not just a recruiter and a rah-rah guy, at least not this year.

What sux for the rest of the Big Ten is that Sullinger was absolutely adamant that he would return... "man of my word" and other over the top declarations. Normally I write a player off as going to the NBA no matter what when they say stuff like that after that last game but I'm leaning the other way here.
On a side note it sucks for the pistons if Sullinger doesn't go pro either... basically means they lose a spot in the nba draft as there will be one less player to choose from.
And while I reserve my basketball sports hate for Bo Ryan as an MSU fan, and part of me doesn't want other coaches to match Izzo's accomplishments, but I do wish the Big Ten wasn't out of the tourney at this point though.Rashean Mathis: "I'm an egg guy. Last year we didn't have (the omelet station). I didn't complain, but I was dying inside."
