  • This may or may not be meaningful. Upshot is that the ohio supreme court has ruled in favor of ESPN's petition to move the matter along in which ESPN requested osu to provde certain doucments (emails et. al). in response to espn's request for documents, osu filed a request to mediate the matter. ESPN said BS, rule and give us the f'ing documents that we requested originally calling osu's filing a stall tactic.

I simply cannot understand why osu wants to withohold documents. They make themselves look that much more guilty of a cover-up in the tressel matter ..... unless the emails/docs are incriminating?

Scroll down in the linked PDF file to the last PDF file date 10/3.

As for leaving -- ask me. I'm only staying for you guys b/c M will finally get a win. I'm plenty happy never seeing this forum again. I can reach OP other ways for his address to send him the check.
Cash is King & my preference and I have to come to Cleveland anyway, DSL wants to fight me by the water tower.

        • Sorry, DSL ..... talent got his ass kicked, lost his temper, took his marbles and went back to his parent's basement.

BTW, if you want to read something really hilarious go to the link below. Its a blow by blow, picture paged of some of the stupendously inept play on osu's offensive line and by miller who, appears to me, to be about as dumb as tp.

I don't understand this collapse. There is way more going on than QB play, that is, bausermann being bad and miller being bad squared. Maybe you can explain it .... no ..... never mind, it's the players finger pointing and coaches infighting that is just destroying osu's football program and feckel is incapable of stopping it. If he survives the season, I'll be surprised.

..... about as surprised as I'll be if Brionte Dunn sticks with osu and the f'ing mess that program finds itself in these days.

The defenses are yelling spoon! And the offenses are the little guy pleading "Not in the face! Not in the face!" This was a fun game to watch if you don't like either of the teams.  Both teams have pretty good defenses and horrible, horrible offenses.  MSU's only threat is B.J. Cunningham and OSU's passing offense is reminiscent of 2008 Michigan (The wonderful Threet/Sheridan days).  Both teams have major issues with their offensive lines. MSU's problems can be explained by a lack of experienced personnel, but this is a little surprising for OSU. Luke Fickell will not be the head coach of OSU next year.  The only question is whether or not his replacement gets hired before the end of the season.   Balls were slippery... But before we get too giddy here, it should be noted that there was a misty rain and the ball was wet, so that accounts for a tiny bit of the Herpy-derpy-ness.  Like this: The punter actually recovered the ball and got off one of his ugly-ass rugby kicks. Here's Stanton Nichols Cousins doing his best Tommy Rees impression.  MSU on D: When you don't respect the other team's passing, you can walk up your safeties and do a lot of run blitzing.  On this play, the short side safety walks up before the snap even though 2nd and 9 is often a passing down. The flanker comes in motion which makes the other safety tip off that he's in cover 1.  The CB is playing run support all the way. The safety is blitzing the C gap. The OSU TE is oblivious to the blitz and 76 (the RT) is doubling down the DT for some reason. Notice how the MSU MLB is completely free to clean up the place. OSU's O-line had trouble getting to the LBs all day long. I don't know if they've had a major philosophy change, but it looks like their linemen are not getting the right assignments on the zone blocking scheme.

The offensive coaching staff will be purged at season's end even if Fickell is still around. Jim Bollman's days are finally numbered.

            • Nope ... you obviously didn't look at the best part. The breakdown. It took me about 10 minutes to read it. You? Probably about 45. It has a lot of words but you'll like the pictures. I highly recommend it though. It's pretty detailed. What does Bollman have to do with offensive line? It appears that is where the problem is ..... besides miller being essentially clueless. Why were you guys so high on him?

                Uh, Bollman coaches the o-line.

We'll see how Miller develops. He doesn't have nearly the amount of support that Pryror had in '08 around him. I will acknowledge that Pryor looked better than him at this point.

                • Leadership is pretty key. So far at least, Hoke has been a great leader and Fickell not.

                  • Well, seeing as how he is the head coach, the o-line really is a Fecal matter.

                    • Thing about the Buckeye offense is -- I have seen terrible offenses right the ship late in a season. This was a trademark of the Carr years -- stumbling and bumbling through September and October and then finally clicking in November. I don't know if this is even possible with the Shmucks, but the talent is there to win games.

Generally I agree with your premise. But Bollman appears to be osu's version of Mike Debord, among other things. If he is responsible for the OL's performance to date then he is also like M's Jay Hopson.

I think osu is under a microscope and that doesn't help. When was the last time I had someone do a decent film breakdown of an opponent? I can't remember ever having that sort of thing available.

What is enjoyable though is watching osu just suck goat balls. After 3 years of watching my beloved Wolverines do the same and get whipped at the hands of cheaters, this is sweet justice.

Be "civil" now, Jeff- He's taking care for his parents by letting them live upstairs from him.

                              • I have no love for anything buckeye, but Fickell is in an impossible situation.

Of course, he signed up for it all, and I'm of the opinion he knows far more than he'll ever admit about what is going on with that program, so he gets what he deserves.

My ass Tressell is/was the only one who knew about any or all of this.

Learned today (maybe known to many of you) that the NCAAs Director of Player Reinstatement is an ohio native and osu grad (grad school, not undergrad). Her father is also an employee of osu (or was, not sure about the timelines). We already know about Emmert and his ties to Gee.

osu will skate; at least in relation to the littany of violations we've seen so far. The NCAA lacks the will and the resources to do what is required.
