  • Utterly superior. Period. Deal with it. But, I wouldn't put it past M fans to desperately try to gloss over a decade of dominance because Coach Tressel failed to forward an e-mail. Any port in a storm. And this storm has been a category-5 hurricane of biblical proportions for M. Shit, you couldn't even beat Ohio State when you were blatantly cheating with extra practice time -- shit that actually might have made M better if they had hired a good coach.

Anyway, maybe one day you'll be relevant again. Things are cyclical. Best of luck on winning your 8 games this year -- it's been awhile.

    • We've got our decade, you've had yours. We came out of ours pristine. You're a punchline. And it's going to be even funnier to revisit these posts once that cycle turns.

      • Ohio State is the Big Ten. In Football and Basketball, Ohio State is the premiere school in the B10 by far. Deal with it. Which, apparently, you can't.

Oooooh man, if Hokattison can't pull it off this year...with every single advantage in their favor (except talent)....oooooh, what a treat that will be...

        • You can keep repeating that as much as you like but nothing changes the reality that OSU can't get it done without cheating whereas Michigan can. Some thought you were the Big Ten for a bit, but now everybody knows what we here have for a long time -- that you're just another dirtbag SEC program. You're just lucky you're not actually in the SEC, which kicks your ass when it counts.

No doubt about it regarding us -- I'm beginning to feel the same way about the UM decisionmakers as I do about the Fords. Success with such bumbling leadership cannot start at the top, the way it should and usually does. It instead required lucking into hiring the right people to handle everything about the program. If this current regime doesn't work out then we're reduced to hoping Harbaugh tires of the NFL in a few years and that UM will pay him what he's worth. That's not a fun future to contemplate. But at least Michigan will never be emblematic of what's wrong with the sport!

          • Your concept of reality is rather lacking. But so be it. You're right -- no matter how often I repeat the truth, you won't accept it.

As I said, I'd rather talk about this year's team, but, unfortunately, M fans have zero interest in the actual OSU team -- probably b/c they just assume OSU is gads better and what's the point. M fans sort of reflexively go fetal and start sucking their thumb when OSU is mentioned. Understandable.

            • We used to, like your Cooper teams did in that era, until we realized you had to cheat to beat us. Your crutches have been taken away. That was as good as it gets for you people -- a few years getting whipped by the SEC in BCS bowls followed by becoming the laughingstock of the nation and giving your rivals the most enjoyable Schadenfreude Summer in history. Thank you for that, and now you're done. You know it too -- you know that as good as he was at cheating, he was even better at coaching football. You know what a loss that is to your ``program''. I hope you enjoyed the way up, because, lemme tell ya, the way down is no fun. That's where you're headed. I recommend you go gracefully unless you just want to give us another thing to guffaw about in a few years.

              • Coach Tressel was, indeed, a spectacular coach and remains a spectacular individual. He is a great loss. You are, at least, finally right about something.

Now, if you'd like to talk Ohio State football, feel free. If you insist on continually repeating unsupported lies, so be it.

                • Spectacular in that he made a spectacle of your football program. You're a laughingstock now.

You had your decade; we had ours. Fact. We didn't cheat during ours; you did during yours. Fact. Now you may be right that I am unable to support the statement that ``this is as good as it gets'' for you. But until you show on the field that you can put out a championship-calibre team without cheating -- like UM has in the post Bo-Woody era -- then you can't say it is wrong. Free advice: adopt the sort of humility suitable to fans of programs such as yours until you have something to be proud of.

                  • You can't support "you had to cheat to beat us." But, you know that. I've tried to let you move on, but it seems you have no interest in talking OSU football for this season.

Anyway, I'd rather listen to advice from an armadillo than you -- the armadillo is more likely better acquainted with reality. But, rest assured, I'm quite proud of Ohio State. It's been a pleasure watching a superior program assjack your shitass program for 10 years. It will be a pleasure watching more of the same. Perhaps you guys can make it a rivalry again. I'm not overly optimistic, but it's possible. Until then, I'll worry about how OSU is going to beat Wisky (I've written off UNL) and whether that will be enough to get to the championship game.

                    • I would prefer that Michigan thinks that they only lost because we cheated. That should keep them in the wilderness for another decade

                      Comment

                      • I don't have to support it -- the dirtbags you look up to even admitted it. Yours is a dirty program. Everybody knows this now except for OSU fans, which I guess makes a bit of sense. It's a lot easier to accept the spoonfeeding than to accept the sad reality that your messiah has come and gone and all he brought with him was fool's gold and a humiliating trainwreck of a final chapter. Your rivals no longer respect you, and until you do the hard work of accepting reality and improving yourself, you will not get that respect you crave.

                        • Your rivals no longer respect you,
LMMFAO. Good. I've never respected M. But that's precious.

the dirtbags you look up to even admitted it
Another LMMFAO. So, someone admitted that Ohio State couldn't beat M without cheating? What the F color is the sky in your world. Oh, I love chatting with M fans. Hilarity ensues.

Oh, and for the record, Coach Tressel brought with him an outright National Title (you likely weren't alive the last time M won one of those), 6 or 7 B10 titles, countless beatings of M, numerous top 5 finishes and other great things. Perhaps that's "fool's gold" to you -- given your basic disregard for reality, it may be -- but that's actually very real gold to most.

                          • I'm not stupid and neither is anyone else here, so that playground-calibre attempt at twisting my words isn't fooling anyone. Neither is the claim that you don't respect UM. You people even nurse an insecurity about whether you are our biggest rival. You're the equivalent of some Yemeni wife who wonders whether the husband likes his other wives better.

Now give me some quality BS to work with here please. This low-grade stuff is wasting my time.

I can't say for sure, but it's certainly contrary to your posts on this thread. Your words are your words. Sorry. And even worse for you, the facts are the facts. Double sorry. And even worse for you, M is still M. Triple sorry.

Eh, I've had my fun. Unfortunately, I now have gads of work to catch up. Be back to report on the Toledo game -- I'm sure no one here will care. Little Sister will be too busy playing with dolls or some such nonsense.
