  • [QUOTE=iam416;558552]A comparison is a comparison. You chose to compare them to Nazis, quite intentionally, I presume. There were a million differnt ways to draw the comparison, but that's what you chose. Like I said, I'll leave that nonsense to you "Michigan Men."
    QUOTE]

There’ s nothing to “choose” when there’s almost no other viable examples where people have ran away from justice and have managed to live through to the end of their lives in relative peaceful.

As your facts may tell you, criminals, especially the wreckless or cowardly ones, always try to get away with things. And it boggle the mind of most rational people (of which virtually all “Michigan Men” are) why they keep trying.

O.J. might have fooled a jury, but ended up getting busted for (SPOILER ALERT for Pryor?) stealing his own memorabilia, Nixon died in shame, Bin Laden had a nasty run in with SEALteam #? , Polanski made Chocolat. Even D.B. Cooper likely never took another step after jumping out of a 727.

The magnitude of the crime matters not. People can’t unrun the cops and they can’t cheat on their taxes forever .

That said, the odds for Tressel and company ain’t so good.

So unless he’s so arrogant to think that he’s smarter and better connected than almost everybody else, there ‘s absolutely nothing to “compare” .

So spare us the outrage over some perceived lapse in political correctness. There's go going to be plenty things to gnash your teeth on when Tressel gets hauled into court.

      • Why didn't Coach Flounder retain Barwis?
It turns out that Coach Barwis had other plans. He has opened his own workout facility, and I believe its somewhere in the Monroe area. So, he remains in Michigan.

I imagine that when Rich Rodriguez gets another HC job, Barwis will join his new staff.

Hate on him all you like, but Coach Barwis has a lot of professional athletes who seek him out for his training methods. Many have ties in the state of ohio ...

Ok, I laughed at this. So, if you were aiming for a comedic effect with that overwrought post gently augmented with ludicrous and demonstrably wrong assertions, then you got me. Heh. Good stuff.

Anyway, you can't possibly be asserting that Coach Tressel "ran away from justice" when he was interviewed by the NCAA in February and appeared before the NCAA in August. And yet, apparently you do. All to make some insipid, daft comparison to the Nazis.

Anywho, carry one with your ludicrous flaming. It's so over-the-top that I can't honestly think you're serious.

          Brady Hoke: You know.....not....good.

There's absolutely nothing that you haven't misconscrued beyond commentary there, Talent. So foolish of me to think that you might have actually spent the last few months adddressing what issues you might have.

Apologies to anyone who's wasted their time reading this banter.

                • Lloyd enjoying the company of the worst human being since Hitler??

                      • Lloyd is a former coach who can hang with whomever he chooses. If he wants to hang with mccheatervest, he can do that.

What it boils down to is a couple retired guys watching a team work out.

                        • A couple of guys with a shared experience -- one that only a few other living humans have shared. It's fairly natural they'd be cordial.

                          • Actually Hoke pretty much fired Barwis and brough in his own guy. Much like Rodriguez fired Gittleson and brought in Barwis. That kind of stuff happens.

Barwis may be a great trainer, but the effect he was going to have on the team was massively exaggerated.

                              • Thanks, Mike... Still, probably not good form to mock a game of "Defending the Indefensible", even one that had sank below the ridiculous somewhere in the first 141 pages.
