Regards TP... I heard something on Sports Center to the effect that Duh OlieO Skate College has completely severed its ties with TP and that effectively would make him eligible for the supplemental draft. Well that was the gist of it anyway.

Mac ..... that is correct. osu is doing TP a favor.
The questionable activity from gene smith never stops. I wonder how much he got paid by tp's agent to do that?
FWIW .... I am absolutely convinced that before tressel, osu ran a pretty clean program. Sure, there was the occasional $100 hand shake just like I'm sure there was during Bo's, Mo's and LC's tenure at M.
But tressel did immense damage during his 10 years as HC at osu. It's been said, fans are in denial as tressel WAS the second coming of Jesus for the osu faithful. Most of all, he erased the cooper years .... a coach if there ever was one for osu that should be admired.
Go back to MoC's claims for a moment. Who was paying the teachers to fix his grades, write his term papers? ... Oh, wait. She was crazy and osu fired her when the temperature got too hot around that issue. Something stinks there but the NCAA, as I have learned from our colleague the talent, could not compel testimony from individuals who are not members of the NCAA/employees of NCAA institutions. How convenient was that firing. Don't think for a moment that was not fully understood by osu's complicit legal staff.
There's more and if there was a good reporter who could compile a list of questionable activities conducted by osu staff and build the kind of picture I am suggesting about the corruption there, it would be a good piece. Speculative sure, and something the NCAA would not pursue. Why? Because they couldn't prove anything without being able to compel testimony and for good reason they should not be able to as my learned osu friend points out. Again, how convenient this situation is for osu and the deep pocketed program supporters that have built an unquestionably enticing environment offering pay (and likely anything else you might want as a starry eyed 17 year old with visions of $$$$$$ in his head with that upcoming NFL contract) for play at osu.
Shit! You don't think osu lawyers haven't been able to provide the kind of legal techniques to cover this stuff up? If talent can do it, so can they and they have. c-bus is a cesspool of corruption involving pay for play akin to towns like Miami was in the 80s and like Auburn and Tuscaloosa Alabama, Baton Rouge, LA, Eugene OR and LA still are. tressel brought this environment to the B10 when he was hired.
osu fans, be proud.Last edited by Jeff Buchanan; July 26, 2011, 09:31 PM.Mission to CFB's National Championship accomplished. But the shine on the NC Trophy is embarrassingly wearing off. It's M B-Ball ..... or hockey or volley ball or name your college sport favorite time ...... until next year.

Ain't that the truth. Really a time waster, and in the end we don't affect anything that happens on the field.
Hope all is well with you, Rocky.Dan Patrick: What was your reaction to [Urban Meyer being hired]?

I'm okay. Still trying to adjust to divorce. The Steelers without Pouncey and a healthy Big Ben were overmatched. It was very hard to take for me as I live in Wisconsin, and I cheer for whatever team is playing the Packers. Take care.I'll let you ban hate speech when you let me define hate speech.

Sorry to hear about the divorce. Losing Pouncey was huge. That game was a total bag of suck. F'n Mendenhall fumble, too. Bah. Anyway, keep up the good fight against those Packer tools. Heh.Dan Patrick: What was your reaction to [Urban Meyer being hired]?

So osu renders Pryor ineligible for the whole year, basically admitting to more egregious violations than what would have simply kept him out for 5 games, yet there is "nothing more to see" in regards to the original investigation. They stand by their initial self-regulation based on the events known for the rest of it all.
What an embarrassment osu has become.

You probably didn't hear Mr. Clarett talk about those allegations recently. You know, where he publically admitted lying about his allegations and, incidentally, defended Tressel to the hilt. I'm just saying.
Let's see ...... if I've got this right. MoC does time. Big time after all was said and done. His violent crimes and colorful legal troubles after leaving osu are easily accessed. In April, 2010, he is granted an early release and .... oh, my ..... shows up in c-bus where he is now "enrolled" at osu after having enrolled in correspondence courses while imprisoned.
MoC was millions of dollars in debt right before his imprisonment. His lawyers petitioned the court to be discharged from defending him because he did not pay his bills and was not cooperative in his defense. Who is paying for his tuition at osu? Who paid his bills after his release? I have no clue but there are clearly benefactors taking care of this guy.
So, yeah, he defended tressel and said he himself had lied about all those bad things he said about osu. Yeah, right. Are you kidding me? Did he have a motive for those statements in tressel's and osu's defense? I would think he MIGHT have but hell, I don't want to presume anything here.
The stink surrounding osu you can cut it with a knife. Any sensible observer of the mess down there has to be suspicious. There is not enough circumstantial evidence, unless and of course you are a delusional osu fan, that all of this is on the up and up. To the contrary, the circumstantial evidence points in another direction entirely.Mission to CFB's National Championship accomplished. But the shine on the NC Trophy is embarrassingly wearing off. Tressel was remarkably Christian to Mr. Clarett when he emerged from jail. But that's the way Coach Tressel is.
that's okay tho ... the most important thing is beating Michigan!!!!"in order to lead America you must love America"
