HARBAUGH****** waived the white flag like a pussy once. No doubt he's running from the fact that he can't do much more than Dantonio did circa 2013-15. Unfortunately for Sparty, though, he had to play a real SEC power.

Anywho, Ohio State will keep piling up recruiting talent. The COVID rules that allowed for like 40 seniors are almost done. It'll be back to straight recruiting and portal'ing. And Ohio State will keep on keeping on.

Meanwhile, M wins the CFP and loses their top 2025 recruit. Their 2024 class is meh. Their 2023 class is meh. And HARBAUGH*****, even if he stays, ain't doing shit about that. He knows the big fall is coming and is gonna run as fast as he can. Personally, I hope he stays. Like I said, it'd be nice to get him up to 10-11-12 seasons w/ only 3 wins against Ohio State. But, I'll have to settle for 3 for 9.

Oh well.

That said, 2023 will last a long time for M fans. In my experience, 2014 carried me through the extremely aggravating loss to Sparty in 2015, the debacle in Iowa CIty and maybe the Purdue shitfest. The goodwill was completely gone after the Clemson loss in 2019 -- a game that featured one of the most inexplicable overturned calls I've ever seen. That one stung. That team was so fucking good. The generational LSU offense would have been a challenge, but they were way better than Clemson. And 2002 carried me up to the great Florida Glendale disaster.

M fans expectations are way lower, so 2023 should probably carry M fans to at least 2030. And they're probably gonna need all of it. Probably more.

Of all the UAT players, Caleb Downs is the one I've been waiting to see what happens with -- and he is, apparently, at least going to enter the portal. If you believe some jackwagon from On3.

Ohio State barely lost out on Downs last year. If he does transfer, it'll be Georgia or Ohio State. The former is sort of interesting because he didn't consider Georgia at all last year on account of his family generally hating them. So, who knows. That said, Ohio State doesn't usually beat Georgia for any recruit, so I'd be surprised if it's not Georgia -- IF he, in fact, transfers.

He's not a "need" piece, but two years of him at safety would be outstanding.
