Yeah, I read about that once. Archie Griffin said that Woody got so upset in a practice one time that he punched himself in the face. He actually was dazed for a few moments. But I guess he got the guys' attention.

At this point in time, I think it very unlikely that JSN will play again for Ohio State. Very disappointing. It's extremely difficult to lose a top 10 draft pick for the year. It hurt when Nick Bosa suffered his fluky injury -- that defense was never right; and it hurts when JSN is lost on a weird hamstring injury -- and the offense still isn't right.

Gotta soldier on, though. It's always a giant pain in the ass to play at Happy Valley, and Ohio State has nothing close to the run game M has to control the game.

I wish it was sandbagging. I'd love to have JSN playing. I'd love to blow out Penn State in HV. I'd love to have a run game that is at least close to M's run game. All of those things, though, just aren't reality.

Has JSN already said that he is out for the year? Doesn't he have another year of eiigibility?

Nothing officially has been said. But he obviously tweaked it again against Iowa. Every time he's tried to play, he aggravates it. He probably needs several months of rest.

He's a true junior. And he's not coming back.

Edit: I wouldn’t be upset about not having to face that guy again. A fully healthy JSN spots OSU 7 points.

Yeah, it'd be really nice to have a 4th guy. I'm pretty sure Harrison is as good as JSN. I think Egbuka is more talented and is close. Fleming has a very high ceiling and is getting there. But they don't really have a 4th guy and that's an issue. You throw all those guys out there and....woof....you're either sacking Stroud or in a pickle.

Those guys aren't even close to where JSN was against UM and Utah last year. He's another level. Randy Moss/Desmond Howard (college not pro) level impact.
