Admittedly, I actually managed to underestimate how awful the Iowa offense and ST would be. I was right about the offense. Actually, I wasn’t — I underestimated how bad they’d be. Never did I think they’d be a 5 yards per play. That’s really bad.
CFB Nerds will break this down and concur. Can’t be at 5 ypp and can’t be that bad in the red zone.
But, 100% totally missed on how many self-inflicted sounds Iowa would administer.Dan Patrick: What was your reaction to [Urban Meyer being hired]?

Ohio State’s defense is probably a little better than people think and their offense is worse than people think. Still a top 5 team, but they have issues.Dan Patrick: What was your reaction to [Urban Meyer being hired]?

I told everyone that CRD wanted to double up what Michigan scored on Iowa. Message sent.
And he's not done yet.

5 ypp is really bad, Liney. I won’t go into why unless you are genuinely curious. But, 5 ypp (or 6) is not good. You need to be above 7 if you’re really firing, I think it’s like 7.3 or so where you start to score on almost every drive.
Iowa was around 5 ypp (slightly above) against M.Dan Patrick: What was your reaction to [Urban Meyer being hired]?
