Nice to see the full compliment of offensive players for a little bit. Henderson only played one series before leaving with an injury (in a walking boot after the game). JSN played a half. Julian Fleming returned. Toledo had pretty much no chance of stopping them.
Defensively, one bust and mostly a super-elusive and fast QB creating shit from what should be disaster. All of Toledo's scores were entirely on that kid and his ability to scramble and make something out of something well worse than nothing.
Fortunately, OSU doesn't play another QB that fast and that good at running for awhile. Unfortunately, JJ McCarthy is the fastest, best running QB in the country AND he has the strongest arm in the country. So, assuming M even faces a 3rd down against OSU, McCarthy will obliterate them with his legs. CRD also held out 3 defensive starters (2 in the secondary and Mike Hall) out of an "abundance of caution." And, in addition to Henderson, Cam Brown, the starting CB also was pulled from the game last night.
Walking wounded. Wisconsin is going to obliterate that defense if it's not at 100%. They cannot win without Mike Hall. They cannot hold Wisky under 38 w/o Mike Hall.Dan Patrick: What was your reaction to [Urban Meyer being hired]?
