I've got the Rutgers PSU game cued up. It's a stinker and says a lot about last week's M win in HV. One look at the putrid offensive numbers for both teams demonstrates the PSU defense is good and of the 4 units in this game, that's the only good one. That PSU's offense scored 17 points on M's D and a decent amount of total yardage, while M's offense just managed to win that game with a big play to do that says a lot about how M's coaching staff approached that game.
Day is not going to let his team get into a rock fight with M and he has the tools against an M defense where he can control the character of the game to avoid that. Harbaugh is going to try to devolve the game to that level. Expect Stroud to come out firing. He may go for a short game on crossing routes to start. M might be able to win that game but the deep ball? Man, I don't know. The first couple of OSU's series are going to tell the story. McDonald has to have a plan and get the execution from his players to keep Day from succeeding in making the game plan he's clearly going to put out there next weekend.
Mission to CFB's National Championship accomplished. But the shine on the NC Trophy is embarrassingly wearing off. It's M B-Ball ..... or hockey or volley ball or name your college sport favorite time ...... until next year.
CRD will sleep well this week. He has nothing to worry about. As I stated after the Oregon game, OSU has had plenty of time to work out any issues they had, and they've done it.
They are right on schedule, as they always are.
Only thing to be determined now is what seed OSU will be in the playoffs.

I hear Guy Fieri is doing the pregame speech for the butt-eyes this Saturday.
I can't stand that guy. He's a 50'ish guy who still wears "jorts" and "bling" (like that makes him 'cool') and just by doing his show, he violates about 10 health and safety laws regarding kitchen workers. Two of the greatest questions known to man right now are, "How is Joe Biden the President of the US, .. and "How does Guy Fieri make 10 million per year, doing what he does"?
Almost all of his restaurants have had problems with local health departments, and just plain existing. They are routinely panned by local dining reviews.
