What a bunch of crap ...... Kevin Warren looks bad enough already, now this. Don't get me wrong. Olave should play. The CDC's isolation/quarantine are now both down to 10d. Isolation can go as low as 7 with a negative test after 5d. What makes all of this so aggravating is that state PH officials can modify these "recommendations" based on local conditions ..... whatever that means and I can't reasonably explain why that is so. Disease prevalence has absolutely nothing to do with ending a quarantine after contact or isolation after a confirmed diagnosis.

This entire PH response to the pandemic has been a huge clusterfuck with confusing regulations and requirements that differ from one side of the street to the next. Some of this can be blamed on the Trump administration but more of it can be blamed on a lack of leadership and an unwillingness to own policy at the state level or within any organizations that has the authority to issue policy for individuals subject to it. The default position has been to implement the most restrictive and costly mitigation measures available out of unsubstantiated fear.
