STFU ...... a better match-up for the Peach would have been M v. osu. I would have enjoyed that. Too bad NfW didn't win the BIG. Playing Florida? Not so much..... except I'll be able to go. Not sure I actually want to see Fortress Michigan try to beat Florida with football similar to warfare undertaken by the French versus the Germans in WWII born of the Maginot of WWI. Stupid.Mission to CFB's National Championship accomplished. But the shine on the NC Trophy is embarrassingly wearing off. It's M B-Ball ..... or hockey or volley ball or name your college sport favorite time ...... until next year.

UFM had a good run. I'm not overly optimistic about Ryan Day. And it'll set recruiting back at least 2 years. Bummer.Dan Patrick: What was your reaction to [Urban Meyer being hired]?
Brady Hoke: You know.....not....good.

I guess there's actually a chance for some continuity with Day. They're going to keep Mark Pantoni, who is UFM's right-hand man on recruiting. I hope they keep is S&C coach. And I'd imagine they'll keep LJS. And probably a few more.
It's just that UFM is about as good a recruiter as there is and a legendary coach. So, it's a step down. Probably three steps.Dan Patrick: What was your reaction to [Urban Meyer being hired]?

Seven years -- two more than I'd expected.
Meyer will leave without losing to Michigan. In my mind, this traces directly back to Mary Sue Coleman, who thought it would be fine to entrust Michigan football to a bunch of clowns. I very much doubt it, but this is a lesson in mismanagement that should never be forgotten in Ann Arbor.
