Kasim Hill is out. I'm not sure if that's good or bad for Ohio State. And my guess is WingsFan.

Well, osu might survive the trip to College park.
I was hoping for more material for game week.
Such is life.Mission to CFB's National Championship accomplished. But the shine on the NC Trophy is embarrassingly wearing off. It's M B-Ball ..... or hockey or volley ball or name your college sport favorite time ...... until next year.

Don't worry, that won't happen.
Someone here has posted that in M's rivalry games between osu and MSU, when you strip away all the tedious exculpatory reasons for an M loss - the clock, the weather, the ball placement and the hundreds of others over the last decade - it comes down to the fact that the better team won.
This season, the better team in conference games Michigan has played so far is Michigan. It beat Wisconsin, MSU and PSU because it was the better team on the field during that game not because of the myriad of flimsy excuses for the loss that you can find on the fans of these losing team's message boards.
Going into the 2018 version of The Game, Michigan looks to clearly be the better team based on their resume. I don't think any reasonable osu fan, including talent, would disagree with that.
Will they win? Depends. Depends on how both teams play on that day regardless of what we wish for or argue for with Fancy Stats.
Someone has also posted that there won't be enough solice to pass out around here if M suffers a soul crushing, dong punching loss to those fucks down there.Mission to CFB's National Championship accomplished. Also, please don't strip away the excuses. That's my favorite part of OSU beating M.Dan Patrick: What was your reaction to [Urban Meyer being hired]?
Brady Hoke: You know.....not....good.

The offensive line, esp. the RT is not great Bob and that appearance has persisted facing any defense with decent DE's (e.g., MSU/Wilikes). You have seen the trio of M rush specialists in Winovich, Gary and an occasional dose of Bush or Hudson through the A gaps, right? That is not a good match-up for osu.
osu LBs? Really? No - they get confused. The tape tells no lies. Will they be better than they have been this season on November 24th? Maybe but the outlook is not good. That kind of stuff is hard to correct and Don Brown will have plenty of wrinkles to make sure it doesn't get corrected.
The back end isn't great either and one thing M's offense has done is gotten better every game. Right now, I'll put M's receivers and catchy type TEs with Shea Patterson throwing to them as significant threats that Schiano isn't going to be able to completely mitigate by covering stuff up. His attempts to do that so far haven't been particularly good - like bailing in coverage to prevent the big play over the top. Patterson will eat that up. Those cover guys trying tight man v. DPJ, Collins and probably Black at 100%? Not a favorable match-up at all.
What else? Haskins does not like getting pressured or getting hit. Let's see. I think that will happen.
On the plus side, osu has got one fucking good punter and He'll probably be doing that a good bit. ufm can tressel ball this game to a win; that's the risk and there is a possibility that Harbaugh will play into his hands doing just that. He's shown a disquieting propensity to do that on the road against good teams .... and osu is good, not great.
Still, my early take is to treat this game like "mgo douchers," according to talent anyway, have been talking sensibly about it. I see a lot less sensible takes at mgo thanI see sensible ones so, I'm pretty sure my definition of mgo douchers wouldn't match talent's. To me those posters are the happy horseshit, unicorns blowing air freshener out their asses.
I have no question this is going to be a battle but M is the better, more balanced team right now. Both have weaknesses; osu has more, IMO. If the result turns out to be like it has in the past - the better team on the field that day wins - M has a very good chance to do so.
