I think PSU really out-thought the play. Probably guessed OSU brings everyone including LBs and they can gash the outside gap. Sanders only decent runs were on 3rd and longish where OSU brought a ton. But Schiano ran a stunt right at the play. They ran a defense to stop read option.

Franklin changed that final playcall three, maybe four times too. Definitely over-thought it IMO
