The first game I remember watching was 1979. So, my memories coincide with start of Earle Bruce era. My first game wasn't until 1992 -- one of the "great victories" in OSU history, fuck you very much Gordon Gee.
So, I've lived through back-and-forth (Earle and Bo) and domination on either side. I'm perfectly happy with the way things are now.Dan Patrick: What was your reaction to [Urban Meyer being hired]?
Brady Hoke: You know.....not....good.

The 1992 version of The Game ended in a 13-13 tie with Gee proclaiming the tie as talent correctly reported it above ..... historical details for those who are interested:
Former Ohio State president E. Gordon Gee is at it again, absurdly stating that "everybody won" in the scandal that cost coach Jim Tressel his job and the 2012 undefeated team a bowl bid.

But the shine on the NC Trophy is embarrassingly wearing off. It's M B-Ball ..... or hockey or volley ball or name your college sport favorite time ...... until next year.

Prepare yourself.
AA:
The better video as it relates to my experience is the 1986 Kickoff Classic that the shithole cheaters with numbers on their helmets somehow managed to win despite massive inferiority.
I also cycle with a guy who played at OSU from 93 to 96, or perhaps, was "on the team" during those years. Lots of great stories. He wasn't too impressed with Sherwin Williams, Bob Barker and the rest of the 1994 shithole cheatin' tide. Good stories, though.Dan Patrick: What was your reaction to [Urban Meyer being hired]?

Your cycling friend sounds like a sore loser. Jay Barker was a great college QB. Just like Sherman Williams was a great RB."The problem with quotes on the Internet is that it is sometimes hard to verify their authenticity." -Abraham Lincoln
