  • That's a bummer. I would fear Chris Mack at OSU.

    • That won't happen.

      • Fred Hoiberg?

Meh, whatever. Just hurry the fuck up already so I can focus all my attention on UFM's recruiting war machine.

            • Makes sense. He's been there long enough that he can go if he wants to.

              • Louisville is, apparently, his destination job. Plus, timing-wise, X is supposed to be pretty good next year.

                    • Buckeyes have been recruiting well, no doubt. Should be an excellent rivalry for the next decade or so. Once Harbaugh starts beating OSU, which will happen in my opinion, then recruiting will even out.

Michigan will be able to stay with OSU, IMO, via the passing game. That's the great leveler as we saw with Alabama losing to Clemson this year. Alabama had much higher rated recruits, but Clemson's pass attack was better. OSU is more run oriented like Alabama. Why pass when you can run at will? Until you can't. And then you can't just switch on the passing game, even with the best recruits. That cost Ohio against the Spartans a few years back. Harbaugh would probably fall into the same trap if M's running game were at the same level.

                      • Greg McDermott. That's the hoops equivalent of Brady Hoke. Maybe not even that. I can't believe they didn't give Thad his final year for that bullshit.

                          • He has been successful in the mid majors - Creighton and UNI. His stop at Iowa State was abysmal. Not sure why OSU is interested in him.

                            • Only thing worse than hiring Greg McDermott is being turned down by Greg McDermott

Creighton men's basketball coach Greg McDermott tweeted Thursday that he is staying with the Bluejays, meaning he will not accept an offer for the open head-coaching job at Ohio State.
