  • Browning committed to OSU.

    • Correct. You must be bitterly disappointed. Though, I suspect The Nick will make a final run at him.

Another advantage of not playing in a CCG -- hammerin' the crootin' trail!

      Brady Hoke: You know.....not....good.

      • Now, if UFM can round out the class with Marvin Wilson, Okudah, Trey Smith, Jay Tufele, Pete Werner and Dealer's Choice (say, Jaylen Harris)...I think he might be getting somewhere. Still needs lots of DT help, but it's a pretty decent shape.

I think they may actually hold Shaun Wade, too.

And to prick it up a bit, OSU's current AVERAGE is 96.11 on the 247 Composite. M has one verbal rated higher than that (McCaffery). Their 2nd best is 95.3 or something.

And to prick it up A LOT...one of my new favorite T-shirts to go along with "Automatic W":

              • Based on no inside info, just recruiting rules:

Marvin Wilson-LSU. They've been in on him for years and Orgeron has led the charge. His mom likes Orgeron. And is relatively close.

Tufele-Utah. So it's now relatively known that he has a strong local pull-his parents want him home. I think OSU is 2nd to Utes.

Trey Smith-? Ordinarily, Tennessee is the obvious choicenun less there is a meltdown. Welp....so, I really don't know if he'll go with his long time favorite or, you know, an elite program (OSU or Bama). I think OSU can best Bama. I'm just not sure either can beat UT.

Who the fuck do you think you are to question my dedication to the Miami Dolphins and these fine men? Get the fuck out of my news conference before I kick your ass" -- Nick Saban, one day before quitting the Miami Dolphins

                      • Saban interviewed for the Giant job way back when. When it was reported that he went to New York and interviewed with them he issued a fiery denial, "I did not interview with the Giants in New York." He was really angry. It turned out he actually interviewed with the Giants in New Jersey.

                          • Back on topic, let's focus on UFM's miraculous rebuilding job. To lose 29 all pros to the NFL and be forced to play, more or less, junior high players, and still go 11-1 and make it to the CFP is like driving a car made from toothpicks, dental floss and aluminium foil.

Remarkable. Probably the best coach in Franklin County.

                            • Also, there remains a ton of smoke around Marvin Wilson to OSU. Unfortunately, he doesn't decide tomorrow.

                              • Wilson would be a good get. We were in on him for a bit. Don't know how much, though.
