I think Ohio State is nearing the plane Alabama and only Alabama is on. The one where you field a Death Star team every fucking year no matter what. I think Urbs is almost there. Maybe 2018.
I say that as OSU is seemingly locked into the CFP after having so many players drafted and drafted highly. But this year's team is not the Death Star. It's still flawed. Flawed, slightly, at DT. Flawed, significantly, at WR. Flawed, modestly, at OL. In terms of accomplishments, it's hard to beat going 3-1 against the top 9 with three of those games being on the road at night. Think about that -- 3 road, night games against teams in the top 9. I doubt they'll have a better collection of wins.
