They're still a good team. As I've been saying. They're not top 3. As I've been saying.

I can't explain the 2 PSU scoring drives. The one at the end of the 1st half was baffling. The 90 yards in 5 plays was equally baffling. They had about 110 yards on 50 plays on the rest of their drives. Throw in a miraculous one-handed blocked punt and a blocked FG that hops right up to them. One of those nights.

The nice thing is that it doesn't really change things. Of course, now M is 1 OSU loss away from being in the CFP even if they somehow lose to OSU. So that's good for you guys.

They have structural issues that make the CFP unlikely, but that was my view coming into the season. If you had told me they'd go 2-1 in their 3 night road games, I'd have taken it. I'm also glad they don't have to play anyone coming off a bye again. Wooot!

You're right though, it doesn't end the season. It ends on 11/26/16. That's The Game and osu will be pumped and ready. They are still a good team.

Honestly, I've mellowed considerably. It's still really annoying because I don't really feel like they got beat -- just a colossal shitshow in the 4th. And they had the ball twice in PSU territory up 21-7 and were just content to sort of meander around and pin them deep. And somehow their punter beat McLaurin to the ball in the end zone. Heh. Lots of good stuff.

Anyway, I'm off to bed.

That was one play. The call didn't go their way. It is what it is.

The bigger problem for osu was ufm being satisfied with 21-7 with two or maybe three more opportunities inside PSU territory to put it away and not taking advantage.

I feel dirty but I was actually hoping for us both to be undefeated in that game. I'll never look an ohio loss in the mouth but it sucks we couldnt have been the one to knock their teeth out
