I was encouraged by the Wisconsin game. I expected OSU to win in a rout. Still think JTB being >>>>> than Speight will be the difference, though. JTB is more valuable to his team than Peppers is to Michigan.

Wisky outgained osu 450 yards to 411.
M outgained Wisky 349-159, with a 10+ min advantage in TOP.
Transitive property aside, M IMO was far more impressive, and those bashing Speight are off base. Yeah, JTB is better, but Speight doesn't make mistakes, makes the deep passes enough when needed, and M's WRs, TEs, and having a Jabrill Peppers on O makes up for his deficiencies.
I see M's D as significantly better than osu's at this point, but yeah, the jury's still out until M plays a spread with talent.
Offense slight advantage to osu, but not as pronounced as many here make it out to be.
Just my $.02Repugnant is the creature who would squander the ability to lift an eye to heaven, conscious of his fleeting time here.

ESPN and Herbstreit attempting to build this game up is not amusing. Dont even know why this shitfest is in primetime.
Urbz ads his best 'lou holtz'
"I wish they'd save the 'White Out' for other games," Meyer said Monday.
The coach called Penn State's wide receivers "by far one of the best groups we've faced in the last few years" and said that running back Saquon Barkley is a future "first-rounder."
Meyer also clearly remembered Barkley's 194-yard game in Columbus last year.
"That's No. 1 on the hit parade as far as Penn State, to stop them," Meyer said. "You won't stop him, but minimize the impact the running back has on us."

PSU has been a thorn in osu's side when the games are in HV. Didn't they just come off a bye? osu has some issues. Could be interesting.Mission to CFB's National Championship accomplished. But the shine on the NC Trophy is embarrassingly wearing off. It's M B-Ball ..... or hockey or volley ball or name your college sport favorite time ...... until next year.

No. Again, I don't think OSU has ever blown PSU out at HV. If it were in Columbus, then yes - they rail them there. This is the second straight hostile night game against a team off a bye. It'll be competitive. I'm leaning toward OSU covering, but I expect it will be close to the number...probably 21-24.
Speaking of which, it's staggering that it is nearly the end of October and M has played a single road game against a team that us unspeakably bad. Last season they looked utterly invincible until they started playing even decent teams on the road. It can be tough.Dan Patrick: What was your reaction to [Urban Meyer being hired]?
Brady Hoke: You know.....not....good.

Well, I'm more in line with talent on this one.
Yes, M sucked on the road last season but I also think that they were not nearly as good on D than they are this season and on the road, that is important. Sure, there's some weakness with spread teams (not to be unexpected) but M doesn't face one of those on the road 'till osu.
osu's been exploited and shown some weakness on D and I think that's their weak point where ever they play. I'll be surprised if osu rolls v. psu and I think talent will be too. Barkley is damn good. If PSU can put together a couple of scoring drives on his back and get osu out of their comfort zone, make jtb throw to keep up/ahead, osu will still win but it will be closer than those predicting blow-outs think it will be.Mission to CFB's National Championship accomplished.
