      • Nope.
Mission to CFB's National Championship accomplished. But the shine on the NC Trophy is embarrassingly wearing off. It's M B-Ball ..... or hockey or volley ball or name your college sport favorite time ...... until next year.

          • It'll be close at the half. Buckeyes will wear them down.

            • jtb has to be a lot better than he was v. IU to lead osu's O to more than 10 more than Wisky scores and if the badgers score > 14, I'd be surprised.

He's got to make plays passing. osu isn't going to run between the tackles or dominate the edge in the run game. Barrett has to perform in the passing game.

21-10 or something like that. I'd take Wisky and 11.

              • I think Wisky is good on the edge. I'm not sure how good they are between the B gaps.

That'll be the chess match. Controlling the gaps. My sense is that Wisky will have to bring a S down. The counter to that is accurate passes 20y out. If jtb can do that consistently, changes the badgers defense. If he can't, not good.

                      • Wisconsin has a good D, their chance at a win is extreme Tressel-ball. They won't move the ball versus OSU.

                        • This is the 3rd time a top 5 OSU team is playing in Madison at night. In 2003, Wisky snapped OSU's 19-game winning streak. In 2010, Wisky snapped OSU's 12-game winning streak. UFM and OSU are currently on a 19-game road winning streak.

                          • the way I see it is that Wisky's main weakness on D is the deep bomb --- obviously was the game winner for M. This is something that jtb and O-state have done pretty well all year. M was able to run some on Wisky's D as well, so it may be possible the Bucks have some success there, but if they do, it's going to be more scampers by jtb than power running by Weber Jr.
I suspect jtb is going to score a couple of long TD throws and the average Wisky offense is going to have to throw to comeback. The ball-hawking Schiano's are going to come away with a few picks and the game is going to get away from Wisky.

                            Hence my 45-13 prediction.

Agreed. I think they hold it a bit closer- though, they best the spread.

                              • Ohio State won't be effective offensively without at least one of their RBs having a good day. They're not going to the move the ball heaving bombs and running JTB 25 times.
