  • Red Hot Chili Peppers performed at the Rock on the Range festival in Columbus, Ohio last night. Nearly Booed Off Stage At Comeback Show

In what is probably the greatest trolls in Rock and Roll history. Drummer Chad Smith took the stage with a giant ?Michigan? logo on his drumset ? This left many fans in the crowd irate. Some realizing the playfulness of the gesture, others unreasonably furious.

At one point, the boos became so loud that vocalist Anthony Kiedis had to address the crowd in an effort to smooth things over.

          • Coach Dockers has landed a few recruits out of New Zealand, according to rumors. No spots left for indecisive 4 & 5 stars.

Yeah, those kids don't seem to in play for M. Right now I'd be happy if OSU landed 1 Wade.

It's no secret that he wears Wal-Mart khakis

Like another Bay Area genius who resurrected a once-proud organization through innovation and exacting leadership, San Francisco 49ers coach Jim Harbaugh is a man who wears the same, affordable out…

Yup. As long a shot as Holmes is, they'll recruit him for a long time and see what happens after they get him on campus. Other than Samuels, as far as CB goes, we're probably stuck with St. Juste(who'll probably end up a mid-low 4 star) Thomas(a get) and Samuels(long shot).

How many spots you guys have left? Understand it's fluid right now. Was on 247 the other day dinking around...was on the optimistic side, but not terribly so and was coming up with around 293 as a total. Really hard doing ours as it's impossible to tell who'll get processed. What's OSU going to come in at, 300ish?

                      • My guess on numbers is 18-20. They currently have 4 spots for this class total. I think they'll lose 3ish kids to the NFL draft, so that's 7. That means they'll need to hit roughly 10-12 kids with the "hard truth" over the course of the next 8-12 months.

So, figuring out this class is really hard because they're in on so many really good players that some regular good players who are committed won't be part of the class.

For now I'll assume Shaun Wade eventually stays south and most likely goes Bama. I'll also assume Todd Sibley finds a program that is happy with a top 20 RB and #252 overall player.

That brings them down to 11. I think they are in a really strong position with Trevon Grimes and Jeffrey Okudah, so I'll add them. I think if they can work out some logistic issues -- namely freeing up an EE spot -- they'll get Lamont Wade. I think they'll chase Darnay Holmes and Shaun Wade, but ultimately settle for Amir Riep (but he may not like being "Plan B"). I think they'd love to get DPJ or Tyjon Lindsey, but I think DPJ stays in-state and, despite what everyone is saying, I think Lindsey doesn't make it. So they'll take Jaylen Harris. Finally, I think they are the surprise leader -- by a lot -- for Cam Akers.

So, I'll add Okudah, Grimes, Akers, Harris, Riep and L. Wade. They're also absolutely going to bring in another QB, but I don't know which one. Kellen Mond? Tate Martell? We'll see. And they'll absolutely add another DT. I'd love to get Tufele -- and hey, he says OSU leads! But until he visits, it's just words. Finally, I think they'll add 1 more stud, but eh, it could be anyone. Baron Browning is promising now, but it's just the 1st quarter with him.

If you take my projected class -- adding my 6 and subtracting my 2, that class of 17 rates at 292.18. Mond would put them over 297 and Martell would bump them over 300. So, eh -- I'm thinking M probably needs to post at least 295 to top OSU for bet purposes. Personally, I think OSU tops 300.

                          • Alternate uniform for the Buckeyes appears to be a throwback that looks based very much on the jersey the team wore in the Chic Harley Era, with vertical gray stripes on a red top. The timing would make a lot of sense too, as this year marks the 100th anniversary of Ohio State's first conference title in 1916.

                              • The only "insider" I trust predicts the following adds for OSU to round a class of 20:

Tate Martell, Trevon Grimes, Tyjon Lindsey, Joel Honigford, Chase Young, Okudah and Lamont Wade OR Amir Riep.

He thinks Shaun Wade may stick. If it's L. Wade over Riep, then that class is at 310 and change. I left Sibley in the class, but he's out probably in favor of a better RB (Cam Akers).

He feels very, very confident that OSU is getting Martell and he has Grimes as a lock. He thinks they'll take Lindsey's commitment (lol @ not taking it). Honigford is OL from Ohio who is a lock if offered.

He's less sure about Young and Okudah. He also thinks they have very real chance at Browning.

Rather lamentable they have such limited space. This would have been THE all-time great class with another 5 spots.
