In NFL Draft news re Ohio State, a couple story lines interest me.

1. Obviously, how many OSU players go in the first round? Bosa, Elliot, Decker and Lee seem highly probable. Eli Apple is projected in the first round in a number of mocks. Michael Thomas is projected on the 1st round bubble. Vonn Bell is just outside the first round. It seems unlikely they'll break Miami's record of 6 first round picks. But, still, the first round should be an OSU showcase.

2. How long will Joey Bosa stay on the board? He seems like the consensus #1 overall player, but the Titans desperately need an OT and the Browns need a QB (Thank f'n god...I don't usually care where OSU players go, but I wouldn't wish the Clowns on anyone). I've been told he doesn't fit San Diego's scheme, so that leaves Dallas then Jacksonville then Baltimore. If he drops all the way to the Ravens, I'm going to be so fucking pissed.

3. How high will Noah Spence get drafted (pun intended)? People forget how stupid good Spence is off the edge. A year in Richmond, Kentucky will vanish you right quick. Allow me a moment to wistfully think about two full seasons of Bosa/Spence in their collegiate prime. Ok. I think he's a top 15 pick. I hope he has his X issues fixed. That'll be the only thing that drops him. But, honestly, he has Vonn Miller potential. Fingers crossed his drug-addled past sees him drop to the Stillers!

4. Who takes a flier on Cardale and when? I mean, if Wentz and Goff are potential top 5 picks, it seems like he should be gone by the 4th round. Really hoping he's able to stick in the league for several years.

5. Will OSU break its own record for number of kids taken in a 7 round draft? The record is 14. I think that's what they'll end up with.

Even if I assumed you'd actually nut up and carry out the wager this year, I don't have $700 to wager on anything -- I wouldn't bet that much on Ohio State-Nebraska.

Good lord. A high 3*? He is, by far and away, the lowest rated real player in the class. He's on par with the likes of Eddie McDoom and Khaleke Hudson. Shameful.

Anyway, I'll have to take a looksy at him. Never really thought UFM would accept his commitment this early in the process. Bill Greene thinks he's really good. All I know is that he's fast for an OLB.

Nice player actually, even though not positive what his position is. Probably OLB, but questions about if he has enough frame to put enough weight on. I won't be shocked if he doesn't end up at OSU.

He's the "Darron Lee prototype". Or something. So definitely walk-out OLB. I'm at roughly 50% confidence level that he'll end up in this class for whatever reason.
