Off to ride my bike. It's solidly in the 20s...low 20s...probably won't hit 30, but it's sunny and there's no snow on the roads, so....if you don't hear from me then you'll know I died of hypothermia in a ditch somewhere northeast of Columbus!

Yeah, that's a nice ride, but seems utterly pointless for Miami or yachting. Or do you keep at your home in Aspen? Then it'd make more sense.

He actually never decommitted, though if everyone is to be believed, he said he was in at OSU. Canes insiders, too. But this is actually one of those rare situations where the school actually doesn't have room. It's more of a 2017 issue.

With 2016 recruiting basically wrapped up, on to 2017. OSU already has 10 verbals. I think most will stick, though there a couple that I know OSU will have to sweat out. Saturday is an invite only junior day. Some visitors are:

I have, in the past, predicted which kids will end up with OSU a year out. Having looked backed at my track record, there's no way I'm doing that again! The only uncommitted kids for 2017 that I feel really good about are Trevon Grimes and Jaylen Harris. I think they're in really strong early position with a couple other really good players -- Lamont Wade, Jeffrey Okudah, Hansard -- but shit, there's a long, long way to go....game just tipped....I'll start to feel better about things in the 4th quarter (next January)....

Damar Hamlin decides tonight. He's really, really good, IMO. Underrated 4*. He'll pick Pitt.

Jordan Fuller we all know. He'll pick OSU.

Grown Ass Man Jordan King will decide between Alabama and OSU. He'll pick the former unless they fill up too many 5*s.

Malik Harrison will decide on NSD. He'll pick OSU.

Mecole Hardman, for shits and giggles, will obviously pick Georgia.

Gary picks M, obviously.

I feel super confident about all of these. Hamlin is probably only 85% in my book. King is about the same -- don't have a real read on him.
