        • Hopefully its something they look into...Newby would be a good back for it. I suspect they've got their hands full trying to rep the 3rd team guy into a functional player.

Maybe if they'd started that process a month ago they'd have more time for innovations, IDK. Time and resources are finite.

                      • sounds like Thomas Graham will commit to the ducks.. earlier people had UNL in the lead. Biggins is saying he felt more comfortable at Eugene than Lincoln. Blow to some of the positive news they've had lately in recruiting.

LINCOLN — Well, there’s another $90,000 all shot to hell.

That’s the check Nebraska wrote to Gardner-Webb of the Big South to come to Pinnacle Bank Arena to play men’s basketball.

It’s unclear if the $90,000 also covered the lesson this 4,900-enrollment school from Boiling Springs, North Carolina, administered during its 70-62 upset of the Huskers.

I thought Tim was a good hire at the time; he had a good track record of improving programs with a steady upward trajectory through the ranks. But its pretty clear at this point that its not working, and in fact appears to be regressing.

So now we have to pay through the nose for a proven coach, who can recruit. Or just decide that BB isn't worth the investment.
