Early on the Husker defense seemed to be playing solid, but the offense kept giving short fields to the "primes". No team can win that way. The defense eventually ran out of gas.

Rhule went out and got Sims thought he fit his system better...and he does...except for one small detail...he is a turnover machine. Thompson tended to make mistakes too and he had a stud WR in Trey Palmer to throw to...which Sims does not. Purdue and the Goofers both notched wins yesterday with Purdue getting the win after a 5h weather delay. PJ found the run game to row past ECU, what's his name gaining 193 yards. I think Iowa can be outmatched by either of those teams on the basis that oft injured Cade McNamara isn't that good when he and Ferentz claim he's healthy. Whatever.
