        • Not much...the market is saturated with inventory.

          • That's what I was thinking too...but I'll bet there is a market for them in the U.P. and southern Canada...

And you guys can compete financially with anyone in the country.
Circling back to this....apparently our new AD did a spot with a notorious anti-Riley radio personality in Omaha, and spent the segment shining on Scott. So he's either confident that Frost is in the bag, or he's just basically bet his life on landing him. Because if he doesn't, that dude going Hoffa.

                  • Jokes aside, there are certainly some parallels here with our situation. I have no idea how similar they are, JH and SF, but for years here we assumed that JH would never come back to Ann Arbor whereas it turns out that's what he wanted all along, and just had to wait for Michigan to stop shooting itself in the foot. Coaches in this position to have to play their cards close. Love for alma mater doesn't make you a non-profit entity.

(Painful to think what could have been if there were adults in charge of Michigan's athletic department in 2010.)

Of course it wasn't the ass kicking UNL laid on the #3 team in the country or anything...nooooo

                        • Nebraska will screw up the Scott Frost situation... and the coaching hire in general. It's UNL's "new thing".

NU and Mich have definitely shared some parallels over the past ten years or so. ent and I have discussed it a few times.

The results of Harbaugh's first 34 games at Michigan has made those hypotheticals less torturous to think about.
