crash.. I don't think you'll find many husker fans getting upset about what others say at this point. We probably all agree.
and I don't think much will change. UNL seems obsessed with one or two key resume "qualifiers" and ignores everything else. That has been the problem for probably 15 years, if not more. They're not hiring the best candidates. They're hiring the anti-bo, the only guy with Neb ties, they're hiring an AD who has P5 experience... in the end, UNL is a program driving while looking in the rearview mirror. I have minimal hope in the near term.
That doesn't always mean every failure was a bad hire. Most coaches don't succeed. But when so many scratch their head hire after hire, it's a problem.
oh.. but the AD is a farmer. So...
Grammar... The difference between feeling your nuts and feeling you're nuts.
Scott Frost perfectly fits your program's stubborn hiring requirements, and he currently has UCF undefeated and steaming along when they were winless only two years ago. I imagine that Nebraska is a dream job for him too. Perfect match. Your AD would be mad to not be making unofficial contact with his agent right now.

Wouldn't be Frost's dream job...he was booed in 1997 after ironically playing against UCF in Lincoln...fans wanted Frankie London...
I would not be shocked to see Frost at Tennessee...
