He might. I think that you guys are still in the driver's seat though. But your AD probably needs to get on that pretty fast.
I think he will be quietly offered the job, and get a visit from Dr Tom, but still decline. He's said no to Nebraska before.
In the current CFB HC job market he's going to get better offers. Maybe TN or LSU, who will pay what NU would, and offer the talent to win immediately.
It was only 35. UNL had a couple shrewd pass interference plays -- like literally tackling WRs that were going to be 15 yards wide open for a long TD. Forced OSU to march the whole field in smaller chunks.
I'm enjoying the morning posts/articles about all the good things UNL coaches had to say about Moos after meeting him yesterday... as evidence this was a good hire.
what coach is going to slam their new boss on day 1???
Grammar... The difference between feeling your nuts and feeling you're nuts.
You may have missed it, but here are a few talking points numbers:
* Ohio State has not punted against UNL in its last two meetings.
* In 2016, UNL kicked a FG in the 1st Q to make the score 7-3. Ohio State then outscored UNL 97-0 over roughly 6 quarters.
* In the last 3 games against UNL, Ohio State has had 26 drives resulting in 21 TDs and 2 FGs.
* Ohio State's final drive on Saturday ended with its third string QB getting stymied around the UNL 30 on 4th down. Ohio State's previous 16...SIXTEEN...drives had resulted in points.
* 41 first downs. In a single game.
Dan Patrick: What was your reaction to [Urban Meyer being hired]? Brady Hoke: You know.....not....good.
