Well, we finished as Runner Up...just like the Huskers!
Unlike the Huskers, we didn't hire some obscure fossil (I heard he's 68 ) from The Wiz Era to run the club. Guess we still have some learnin' to do...but we can play defense.

I'm guessing the Spawn of Hoss kickballers are also considerably more physical than the Huskerz and probably have more speed in spots.
This is probably not as untrue as it should be. That said, when you get caught one-on-one in the front corner of the EZ while dropping eight guys into coverage you got issues besides the athletes.
This is the second time this year we've given up 42 points in the first half. That never happened to Mark Banker or Kevin Cosgrove in their first year on the job, and sure as shit not at home. (Coz got throttled in the 2nd half @ Texas Texas, thanks to 5 INTs by the offense) At some point you need to wake the fuck up and realize you are asking your athletes execute assignments that they are not capable of, and do something else.

It was only 35. UNL had a couple shrewd pass interference plays -- like literally tackling WRs that were going to be 15 yards wide open for a long TD. Forced OSU to march the whole field in smaller chunks.
Dan Patrick: What was your reaction to [Urban Meyer being hired]? Brady Hoke: You know.....not....good.
