It'll be interesting to see how things play out for Lindsey. He was sold a bill on how OSU would "not use him" -- someone will take Lindsey's spot at H-back (i.e., Curtis Samuel, Jalin Marshall, Braxton Miller) and do well for Ohio State.
Dan Patrick: What was your reaction to [Urban Meyer being hired]? Brady Hoke: You know.....not....good.

He said two things stuck out to him.. Keyshawn was sending his son to Lincoln and he couldn't shake that thought and secondly, his good friend DeAnthony Thomas talked to him about being a situation guy at Oregon and all he had to learn the WR position in the NFL.

The Keyshawn thing isn't real or doesn't strike me as real. Keyshawn LOVES Ohio State. Michael Thomas is his nephew or something. If reports are to believed, he was talking up OSU to Darnay Holmes. I think that if OSU had "offered" KJ Jr he'd be in Columbus.
I think at the end of the day, UNL convinced him that UNL was better for him as a player. That's it. And, heh, maybe a changed relationship with Martel, but I don't put much stock in that. I think UNL just out-recruited OSU. They never gave up. They always kept in his ear about how OSU uses smaller receivers and sold him that UNL will do better by him.
We'll see. I'll be interested to see how this one plays out and how Lindsey's replacment(s) do versus him.

Onyemaobi is one of the region's premier two-way players and has the ability to play on either side of the ball in college. The athlete can play receiver, corner or safety at the next level and also be a dangerous return man on special teams. He has very good length for a big corner and runs well enough to play there in college but is very good with the football in his hands as well so receiver is an option. He has a big frame and if he continues to fill out, we could see him grow in to a rangy safety with plus cover skills- Biggins

Brenden Jaimes, OT from Texas, moved from a 3 star to a 4 star in the most recent Scout updates.
Either his Senior film impressed them enough or his recent offers changed their evaluations... either way, if you follow stars or think they have influence on perception, this is good for UNL.
