And he highlighted his faults too... first time he's done that. And he explained why he hired him and what he didn't know. Sounds like a guy saying he did some good things, BUT...
Grammar... The difference between feeling your nuts and feeling you're nuts.
It also sounds like a guy saying Bo had character issues BUT...
And he later referred to Solich's similar performance as HC, saying like "we'd probably take that right now" . IMO...that tells you where he's at.
Mileage varies. I do think he's trying to straddle the fence, in case Riley pulls this off. He wants to be right in the end, whichever directory histiry breaks.
I took that as TO saying Solich should never have been fired in the first place.. I still believe he's pissed about that... He still believes FS would have figured it out.
But maybe TO is riding the fence. Either way, it's the first time he's said Bo was a mistake... not directly, but inferred. You don't explain why you tried something unless you're trying to justify a bad decision. jmo

you and I both believe SP acted too soon. Recruiting wasn't going to improve and another bad season changes many perspectives. Too many people said he righted the ship with that last season.

I was watching a bit of the 2005 OU game the other day...man, that team was a mess. Adam Ickes trying to bring down Adrian Peterson. Nine sacks of Taylor...probably 20 hurries. Courtney Grixby on Malcom Kelly. Crossing routes to Grant Mulkey. A LT that had been a NT the year before. Four IBs on scholie, three frosh or sophs signed by BC. DL was good, bolstered by some JC signees.
