Looks like the Huskers are flipping Tre Bryant, the top-rated RB out of Missouri, from Kansas State. MN is still on the radar, but he's decommitted from KSU and will be in Lincoln this weekend. "Insiders" expect a verbal from him soon.

Elliot was like the 14th highest rated running back (combining RBs and All-Purpose Backs). Heh, he was an APB in the 247 composite rankings. He was still 70th overall, though. Ah, back when OSU signed 10 kids in the top 86. The backbone of this team. Not that stars matter.Dan Patrick: What was your reaction to [Urban Meyer being hired]?

If you want to compete at the highest level (CFP) you need elite talent. A team full of three stars might get you in the top 10 but the talent advantage is obvious when you play a team like the Buckeyes, Bama, LSU.
Alabama is the same way. McCarron was a pretty decent college QB and he's managed to hang around in the NFL as a backup. And when Bama had him (and Julio Jones), ummm, yeah...good.
I remember when Ohio State got their ass kicked by USC in 2008. It was a good Tressel team -- not his best -- but still good. They were out-talented everywhere. The OSU OL vs USC DL was a bloodbath (as was OSU OL vs Florida DL). I don't care that USC lost to Oregon State that year -- that was an uber-talented team. Urbs may have 1 less national title if he had to play them instead of Stoops.
But, you guys know about USC. And those were games were M was actually pretty damn talented!Dan Patrick: What was your reaction to [Urban Meyer being hired]?
