This why they are at places like UNLV, Youngstown State, or are unemployed. Except for the mastermind behind such brilliant quarterback management as this article chronicles, Tommy Turnover, and the legend which is Taylor Martinez...who is now working his magic at Ohio State.

How this collection of derelicts managed to stay afloat for seven years will forever be a mystery.

Hearing that former Stanferd all-american Troy Walters will be our WR coach, rounding out Riley's staff. Currently coaching WRs and serving as RC for Colorado.

I'm in a wait and see mode. They are not the splash hire I thought UNL would get when firing Bo. While they are doing a lot of the little things better, and seem to have more energy/passion around recruiting... they didn't have the results at osu. So I guess we will see

How are you guys feeling about this new staff?

I think we're in good shape, but they have a tall task ahead of them. The cupboard is pretty bare at some crucial spots, and the stretch of easy schedules that enabled Bo's shitshow to stay afloat are ending. BYU represents what is probably the most challenging season-opener since 2003, and Al Golden will be fighting for his life when we go to Miami two weeks later. In 2016 we swap Miami and Michigan State for Oregon and Ohio State.

They are going to be in a fight to survive for the first few years, until their improved recruiting, roster management, and player development kicks in. They are better coaches all-around IMO, so they'll be OK. I think we have been conditioned to expect tough games, and accept losses, in some scenarios where it won't be true anymore because we'll be equally or better-coached.

I mean, just look at the link ent posted...we traded Mr. Ohio for a QB prospect who is now playing TE at North Texas. And those dumbasses were winning nine games.
